Totally agree with you. It does not make sense. Why not just tell her that he will support her and wait for her. He will always be there comforting her via text messages and calls although he’s not physically close to her. Even more try to plan with her about the possibility of flying over for a holiday….. There are so many ways of showing some positive supports that a lover can offer. But instead the ML gave her a reason right in her face that he did not love her anymore. How can one still expect the girlfriend will sure be coming back or keep stalking him after receiving such humiliating and hurtful reason?
