Awwe.. thank you Sue. We wish we could!! We were last year, but this year woth COVID the sales didn't even start until July, and they're already over.. so there was no chance to get enough footage for 5 videos per week this year, but with the announcement of the vaccines now, we REALLY hope it's back to normal next year, and we can go back to a video every day Mon-Fri! 😃😃😃👍

Hi Guys I'm glad Karen decided to buy the jacket. It looks really nice on her. Maybe a shoe repair store could advise you on refinishing those corded looking seams. And about the rationing.... I was at Sam's Club the other day. It was crowded like before a holiday. People were stacking their carts with toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Lots of things were "limit1". Covid19 is getting bad again... Chicago is saying for next few weeks only go out to work or school or to get groceries....and not to have Thanksgiving gatherings with anybody who does not already live in your house.

Garage sales what are those? lol. I maybe have gone to 2 yard sales since this Covid started :(. I have 6 ration books 4 ration book 5s (lots of stamps), 1 ration book 6 (some stamps)and a gas ration book but no stamps in it, not sure what to ask for them. Nice find on the jacket :). I used to wear black leather jackets (back in the day) had a really nice 1 with the fringes but when I met my husband he didn't like me wearing the jackets so I quit wearing them lol

We search the Ebay SOLD listings to see what people have paid for some of these collectibles... it's probably the best way to see what people have paid for those ration books recently. If you can find one similar that has already sold, that's a great representation of what it's worth. (Along the left of the page on ebay, there's an option near the bottom to see only sold listings).

@@BargainBarons I put i3 of them on FB Marketplace and 3 people have inquired. The #6 ration books I just am asking $12 but the ration book #5 I'm asking $15 as it's rarer to find and with stamps still in them. 3 people have inquired 1 wanted to only pay $10 for the #5 I told her $12 I'd take so she backed out. 1 guy said he was a history class school teacher and inquired about 1 but he hasn't got back to me. The gas ration with no stamps someone from out of town wants to buy it but I'd have to mail it to him. So it's good people are willing to buy them :). Yes I'll look up on Ebay for sold just to see if I'm asking to little lol. I still have 2 #6s to sell was just testing if people would be interested in buying.

Karen keeps a lot of her thrifting tools in that bag - U/V light, magnets, magnifying glass, band-aids, and her money. She also has tools in there because you never know when you'll need them on site to break something down...
