I don't really have much of a pie situation going but might well looking to this before another update. Your portfolio looking pretty decent as the year comes to a close. Yeah, we're nearing the 1K mark! Still a while to go, but I'm in no rush - it will happen when it happens, just need to stay consistent. #Patience - I don't really have much of a pie situation going on either, so you're not alone with that one. Yeah, I'm happy with how the portfolio is looking for now, hopefully, things continue to grow and improve in the New Year - what will 2021 bring... as always thanks for watching/commenting etc - Merry Xmas! 🎄

Wow, nice one! Are you receiving free shares from them copying your pies - or did they already have Trading 212 accounts? Yeah, from what I understand Etoro were first with this sort of 'social investing' idea. I've never used Etoro though, so can't compare.

Copy trading is very dangerous in my opinion, it encourages new investors to rely on others and invested based on projected returns, rather than research companies to see if investing is right for them.

Is this not what people pay fund managers to do? Granted pies on this platform are more of an amateur setup, but copy trading being very dangerous is quite a sweeping statement. Although, I personally don't do it and agree that research is key, so would second your sentiment on that.

I agree, but I don't see an issue with it as long as people are researching the stocks / portfolios they are copying. It certainly helps get more awareness out there - opens eyes to more of the companies we're able to invest in. 👌
