Second viewing (yes, with ads, I don't care how much permission I'm given to do otherwise) I *must absolutely gush* over the on screen graphics, prepare to blush with pride. The pole position and lap winner graphics, every element there has its own animation on the outro fade that is work on a level out pacing even 3D. Not to forget how the white stripe has a transitional effect, shifting with a subtle red wave within. Also, the dynamic ribbon wipe between scenes leaves me dumbfounded in its elegance, eliciting comparison to races broadcast on FS1. Let's mention for sure the blue waves of light coming from behind the top times leaderboard AND the slight angle at which that board appeared on screen. The only graphic that is static, unmoving, is the race scoreboard itself *BUT* that is exactly how it should be, conveying such important information there. Where's the damn roof on your skill set, bro? I hope you never find out, EP!!!

Hey, Chris. Its good you pointed that out because most people would take the Network Television Level of Excellence in Graphics for granted. They may only see it on a subconscious level and after its over wonder what exactly made the whole thing look so dang good and be so dang fun. But they can't put their finger on a single thing. Its the combination of great lighting on a fantastic set, great recording, editing, commentary and sound, and special effects. And when he's not doing all that he's building a car for racing on another channel. Why aren't there more subscribers?!

This, how the subconscious knows why the show is good while the surface brain where words come out has less of a clue, is exactly why in my comments you often find I DO focus on the technical bits. You don't feel the scalpel as much as a duller pocketknife when it cuts, and so too can a host have their skills so honed that the beauty slips effortlessly past the surface of our minds
