You promised her father as he was dying to take good care of his beloved daughter and you not only failed but were the reason she suffered so much pain and anguish. WHERE WERE YOU WHEN SHE NEEDED YOU THE MOST. Not only did you question your own sons origins which in my book is unforgivable you added more flames to the fire. Had you allowed her to go with the general she would have lived a happy fulfilled life

EXACTLY! He forced her to marry him even though she started to care for the general and would have been content, alive, and not bullied or harassed. If the shoe had been on the other foot, the general would have accepted the baby without question and didn't have a harem. He was totally devoted to Meili, and she was content in that he would be true to her and loved/cared for her. This 2 legged brainless amoeba was obsessed with her, didn't protect her, and got her killed. He is to blame just as much as the two Consorts. Now everyone knows who wears the pants in that family, and it ain't the hubby. The Dowager took better care of her. She should have been an attendant in the Diwager's household. She would have been better protected, cared, and loved, along with her son. I can only imagine the bitter feelings the son will have with his father over his and his mom's mistreatment, bullying, and his mother's death. He'll probably feel the same way with the two Consorts as they led the charge. That house is a Den of Iniquity. At least Meili is with her dad.

@pengdubit obviously not in HIS royal household. She would have been better off in the Dowager's house or married to the General. What gets me is when the stupid amoeba ML died later, she came for him. Pftt! I would have been cavorting with the general in heaven or hanging out with her dad. I'm betting Daddy had a few words for him when this DA hit the pearly gates. May they never meet in another lifetime. He's as douche as the ML from World of Love (she's the FL in that drama, too. How unlucky of her!

a pessoa que ela mais amou , foi a pessoa que mais a fez sofrer só sinto pelo filho dela , não existe amor sem confiança e ele nunca deu a ela o beneficio da duvida , e por quem ela mas amava o seu filho ela não teve outra opção a não ser morrer para que o seu filho não fosse visto como ilegítimo o que importa agora a criança ficou sozinha já o marido vai ter outra mulheres ( o amor tudo sofre e tudo suporta mas não deveria ser assim ) nesses dramas antigos as mulheres não passavam de ferramentas para o homem e para suas famílias eram obrigadas a se unir com quem elas não amavam sofriam caladas a favorita tinha tudo a desprezada era abandonada no palácio frio
