No - it was never allocated to WW. Its just that I had a complete set of blinds for WW, so dressed it as that. This bus finished at New Cross.

I was aware of it - and had planned to deal with it. But was not aware it supported the conduit. I will carefully try to remove it this weekend without losing the pattern.

Looks to me like plywood, maybe 3/4 inches thick, that would make sense because of the curved area to minimise waste

So nice you are restoring that RT, do you possibly know where I can source an old Titan… I desperately want to own one, I am living in australia now and I own 2 buses,…but really want to own a London bus… prefer a Titan or an Metro that used to run out of AR or HT

Thanks for your comments re the RT. It certainly is a bigger project than I thought it was initially and my aspirations for getting it back on the rally scene keep getting pushed back. Anyway if your referring to the 1980’s Leyland Titan (and not the RTL), they do come up from time to time, but now increasingly rarely. The construction of the Titan is 1st class, but let down by the wiring. Most by now are likely to have wiring issues and will need a good electrician. Despite this they were a logical step on from the Routemaster and seemed to apply many of the design principles gleaned from the various Routemaster projects. In my view a nice bus to drive, which despite being a bus designed in the 1970s still looks modern. My only suggestion is keep an eye on the net or ebay as they do occasionally turn up. @@deansullivan9077 I fully agree, when London northern where I worked at HT in the 90’s had ex London Surburban titans, I loved driving them on the 4’s took one out on the 10’s on a Sunday in the old livery got a ticking off as it wasn’t red lol … best buses period after the RM/L I know of one nation over here in Sydney I am trying to purchase it now … but hard as the owner won’t relinquish it ..l also ex city bus NC dominator is over here in a place called chipping Norton again won’t relinquish it.
