OMG! I remember we used to have a recorded VHS tape with this episode followed by "The Little Mouse On The Motorcycle" movie. I used to love watching that tape over and over just to see Herbie... until our VCR got cannibalistic and destroyed the tape. I was, and still am, a big Herbie fan. This brings back so many memories. Thank you for locating and uploading these glorious episodes.

Thank you so much for posting this! I had this episode (and only this one) on tape. I was watching on my parents machine once, and accidentally left it in there (the safety tab on this tape hadn't been removed), and my mother's soap recorded over the last 15 minutes or so of this. Since then, I've removed the safety tab from most of our recordings. Haven't seen the end of this in 22 years!

the amount of modifications to achieve all the gags are crazy! One of the cars they used must have had to be fitted with to steering mechanisms, and at the start Herbie's steering turns 90 degrees! its amazing.

Yep, in between those years, but Disney currently hasn't announced it as of yet, which has saddened Herbie so much he started to cry. Now he's happy, but sick. He's just running a car fever. And I'm definitely concern that 2017 is not a good year for a new Herbie movie. But the good news is, they made a new remake of Beauty and the Beast in March and now it's available for pre-order. It'll come this Summer!

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that a new Herbie TV show is currently in development, but the bad news is, Disney is planning on giving Herbie the ability to talk, which dampens Herbie's mood so much, he started crying uncontrollably. That reminds me of GO-GO Tamagotchi, where Tamagotchi Planet starts crying as Tamagottsun nears its end. We'd better stop Disney from making Herbie talk and still continue the show's development! Oh, and like the Tama-Friends try their best to cheer up Tamagotchi Planet, we'd better be like them and try to cheer up Herbie, too!

for one thing, they animated herbie too much. in some of the shots and stunts, you can easily tell it is really fake. in the original movie, they didn't have the luxury of animation and performed the stunts in real life. they also gave him this jiggly voice, kinda like wall-e. there were a couple other things i didn't particularly care for but these are the main points. i kinda hope disney does another to redeem itself.

I love Herbie, but I think it's pretty safe to assume that this tv series was probably the worst of them all, yes even right up there with Herbie Fully Loaded, the older movies had amazing stunts, better comedy and crazy entertaining races while this show for the most part was just dull romance, don't get me wrong its great to see Dean Jones again as he was my favorite in the herbie movies, but this was just crap

AVTube Eh, I’d say Goes Bananas is worse, all the films are enjoyable, even Fully Loaded, honestly Fully Loaded isn’t that bad apart from a few story elements and how Herbie was portrayed, bumper moving, eyelids(which weren’t that bad tbh), and the odd choice of noises rather than just engine noises and all that good stuff, someone edited a clip from Fully Loaded with all those classic sound effects and it’s an improvement. That and the street race and nascar Herbie...like why. Even then I wouldn’t have minded but then they end the film with him in that street racing look again.
