Hi I just came by your beautiful must say at least someone or a particular family took the initiative to build their own caravan to travel freely and without any problem and other sorts. You won't believe how much I admire this beautiful videos what not have you got in the caravan and it's my dream to own a caravan without having a home and just to travel I don't care what reviews I will get on my comment but a life is truly lead when you travel. It teaches and connects you with yourself. I'm happy to see a family who lives their lives so hat's off and cheers to you guys. I really want to own a caravan and have built just like yours having everything but their is a minimalism to it. If you can can plz share the entire cost of building your sweet warm caravan and if you make a video for people like me where you show how the water stored in tank in used via gravity and where you have made an storage for the battery. Now coming to cost factor new vehicle on road cost us 18 lac ( cost of Base vehicle + insurance + private registration + All taxes) & conversion cost approx 10 -12 lac...Approx 28 - 30 lac....If you go for a second hand vehicle then cost will come down by 5 -8 lac. Your welcome, probably you have not seen all our videos otherwise we had noticed kzbin.info/www/bejne/emeoqHh4a9ShsMU Not withstanding Firstly Water is filled by gravity to underbelly tank from where water is pumped to Sink & Washroom Secondly Grey tank is also underbelly. Thirdly we have a gas hob connected with 5 KG LPG cylinder & a 1300 w Induction plate for cooking. Lastly our entire battery set up is below codriver seat. 2 kva Solar Inverter with 2000w 24 v Lithium ion battery with 380 W 24 W solar panel on roof. Take care

1) The water tank might foul when you drive down hair pin bend on hills and on big speed breakers, more when the cab is loaded. Suggest to fabricate a stainless steel tank under the chassis right below the hob and kitchen sink to counter balance the fuel tank weight (which is on the other side). Or refabricate the existing tank in such a way that the lower area is tapered shallow towards rear and deeper towards the rear axle. 2) You will a need a 1 KVa Genset for those rainy days. 3) For the desi cooking style you'll need a chimney to vent the oil vapors, out. Else in 3 months, the bed and seats will attract the vapors and the cab will smell like restaurant kitchen. 4) If you have installed home inverter with tall tubular batteries, consider replacing them with automotive truck batteries, invertor batteries are not designed to take shock and will crack and internally short on rough roads. 5) With all the weight looks like you are already near GVW, consider adding air suspension bellows to increase suspension height to avoid bottoming out on rough roads and avoid rear sway. Trust the vehicle is registered as motor home, if not please re-register it to avoid trouble. In addition, since the vehicle is carrying an LPG cylinder it has to be endorsed in RC as well. This is not going to be easy unless you have influence. instead consider using electric cook top, you can use a 1 KV genset while cooking. A tempo traveller with a white number plate is like golden egg for cops standing at the border of every state. So ensure you are legally safe. Happy motoring, hope you encounter you coking or resting beside the highway some day.

Firstly- We just came back from our first caravan vacations and had no issues of water tank however point regarding refabricating the water tank is very valid. will definitely work on it. Secondly- Instead of 1 KVA genset we were carrying 2 kva silent inverter genset. Will show you in our next vlog. Thirdly- If you have seen in our initial vlogs that we have installed a exhaust vent just above our kitchen counter. Vent working superb and take care of all our desi Tadka. Fourthly- Please see our previous vlogs. we have installed 2kva solar inverter with 2000 w lithium ion battery. Setup working very well and gives us adequate backup. Fifthly- Since its a new vehicle so didn't found any issues of suspension, probably after few years will get it replaced by air suspension. Lastly- All the modifications are as per norms and properly documented. Believe you me we just came back after our first vacations travelling 3500 km crossing 4 x states and 3 x union territories and no issues of police/RTO. Travelling with family on a private registered caravan was as comfortable and carefree as travelling in a SUV. Looking forward to meet you on road someday. Regards Stay safe...Stay healthy

😅😅😅😅😅Firstly we have installed 380 w solar panels which are connected with 2 KVA solar inverter which charges a 2000w lithium ion battery. Secondly we also have a 2KVA silent inverter generator to charge our battery if in case of bad weather. Thirdly we also have a option to directly plug in electricity/shore power to charge our appliances and functioning of our electrical appliances. Apology friend No technical diagram was made😀. Engineers at Force Motor Ltd copied a 30 year old Mercedes Benzes known as TN T1 - they have no right for any claims- google and you will find the original grand dad which was much superiors in quality to Force clones - yes VanLife Indian Couple have done a good job - currently the best in India - Technically / simplicity and functional- one and only VAN conversion for practical camping in India and they deserve appreciation - Not copy cats from Force Motors for copying TN T1

Your build is absolutely amazing and inspiring! Having said that, I would like to suggest a few mods/upgrades that you should consider: 1. With all the added weight of the rig, consider upgrading the suspension that are rated for higher weight for a comfortable and safe ride. 2. Upgrade your tires and wheels. Go for 235/65R17 at least with tyres rated for higher weight and preferably all terrain. 3. With weight comes momentum. Upgrade the brakes for better stopping power. 4. Retrofit your solar panels so that you can charge even while driving. At present, your alternator is overloaded as it is charging 2 batteries instead of 1. 6. You have installed an underbody plastic water tank. Consider protecting it with steel/aluminium bash plate. Optionally, you can remap your engine for additional power.

Wow wow wow... congratulation mam. congratulation to your whole family for creating such an amazing caravan. I am caravan/ motor home buff and have been watching such videos and reading about van life for almost 5 years. My dream for a long time has been to build and own one for myself and my family. My daughter who is 14 years is also crazy about caravan culture which is so prevalent abroad. But I didn't know how and from where to start being in India. Your detailed video has given me some confidence that a comfortable camper van can be build here. Yes. definitely would like to know the cost involved, if possible.

Go for it...Chase your dreams, dreams do come true..in this project planing/designing/procurement of items was done by us and for execution of task we had hired skilled tradesman like carpenter/electritian/plumbers...They did what we told..lots of hit & trial method..many of times things didnt worked. Thanx to google baba & youtube bhai who helped us a lot😀😀...Trust us..if we having no technical knowledge can build a DIYB Caravan , everyone can do it...Sab kuch ho sakta hai iraada hona chahiye...best of luck...feel free to share query...will try to answer all with our van built experience...take care

Dear Friend , Firstly -new vehicle on road cost us 18 lac ( Base vehicle + insurance + private registration + All taxes) & conversion cost approx 12 -14 lac...Approx 30 - 32 lac....If you go for a second hand vehicle then cost will come down by 5 -8 lac. Secondly-Friend this is a self built caravan. Designing & planning was ours and for execution of task we had hired skilled workers like carpenter/electritian/plumber/welder. They did what we said. Certain aftermarket work we got it done from Delhi. Feel free to ask your queries. Very nicely built van...I loved it and since long I am also planning to built a van for my family....my first and foremost issue is that what are the formalities to register these vans whether these are registered as private vehicle or commercial vehicle....and what are the conditions for a campervan to be registered as a private vehicle

The solar panels should've been able to charge when moving, because we make only small halts in the day hours, and night time it wouldn't charge at all...

Yes friend its desirable that solar panel should keep charging when the vehicle is on move. In our case since we had restricted space on roof due to installation of two AC ( Coleman Mac 10 AC & Van AC) & two vents , we had to go for DIY foldable solar panels which charges when vehicle take halts ( One hour & above). It is one of best conversion available on youtube so far. It is an absolute delight to see the utilisation of space and selection of the materials/mechanisms used.
