Nice review ! I remember when you announced the pre-order for these back in October on AmiAmi. Man time flies lol. The re-release is definitely good but i feel the difference in paint (more matte dull finish to the red) and something of the face sclupt on the new doesnt feel quite like the old. The first one feels more like authentic Maul. If anything i think i might get the OG release and get one of the custom cloth robes for it off of ebay. Each version is awesome in its own right. Thanks for another awesome review, very informative!

Great review, i never managed to get Maul or Qui-Gon when they went up for pre-order, i was gutted but after many many visits to amiami i managed to get both within a week of each other...ones on the way, the other is being processed, can't to get them, both look fantastic

Mine also came with the loose right shoulder socket. I feel the same as you it’s a bit too loose for my liking. I have another coming though as I ordered 2 and one came with 2 left arms lol. Great video man! Also just so people know the probe droid is a different sculpt from the sith speeder version, the sith speeders is smaller

I have the speeder set and I thought the droid was the same as well but this new one is actually bigger and more detailed!

Looks like a nice figure but imo Bandai still sucks at making realistic faces. The older figure looks slightly more like Ray Park where as the re-release looks like someone cosplaying as Darth Maul. I still reckon Hasbro makes much better face sculpts but Bandai articulation is still better but not worth the price.
