I haven't tried, but people claim that the dishwasher detergent leaves a film on the pyrex and the the abrasion of Barkeeper's Friend breaks through it. Kind of like soap scum on the shower doors. I really should buy a beat up one just to try. If I do I will film what I use.

I love the salt and pepper shakers in crystal and the silver tops with Mother of pearl tops on the lids. That mosquito trapper machine would be very useful from where I am originally from. Mt. Usually just use warm, soapy water and a bit of uncooked rice. I swirl it and shake it around until they’re clean. Of course an old toothbrush works great in all the small crevices on the outside. 😊
