EP62: First Trip in our Opus - Exploring Echuca

Our first proper outing in our Opus OP4 sees us head up to the VIC/NSW border towns of Echuca and Moama.
We make the most of the King's Birthday weekend and jump in the car straight after work, driving up to Echuca Moama, with Archie joining us to see how we all enjoy our new Opus camper trailer. The OP4 fits snugly into our small garage, and takes no time to hitch up and get on the road.
We stay at Moama Waters caravan park as our base for exploring (we haven't yet installed our inverter or hot water system so staying in powered sites untill we've got all the gear).
This episode includes a quick initial tour of the camper trailer (detailed videos of set up and walkthrough to come shortly), and we venture out into Echuca, visiting the historic port area, going on an original paddlesteamer and the must-visit Aussie Beer Shed!
We are Hannah, Chris and dog Archie. We love exploring this wonderful country that is Australia, our "Staycation Oz"! Follow our journey as find new places to visit and search for amazing places Australia has to offer!

Thanks Corrie and Lyn. Appreciate the kind words and so glad you see that we want to produce authentic videos that are useful to others. Our aim is to make camping and caravanning feel accessible to everybody, so more people can get out and enjoy Australia. We try and showcase the places we visit and also some of the camping experience in our videos, and we’re not interested in tricking people into watching us - what you see is what you get! The bonus is we have lots of happy video memories of Australia and holidays with Archie that we can watch for years to come 🥰 🐕‍🦺🐾

Archie was so happy to be out camping again. He’s not keen on the steps up into the camper, so we need to figure that out - we’ve just been using his ramp in the meantime ☺️
