Greetings from Down Under. Love your travels. Love your work. Takes us back home. Grew up in Botswana. PS you are right, that landscape was like the Simpson 😎 Have to admit, Southern Africa offers way more for the overlander than Oz.

Great video Adrian. You must do a lot of setting up the camera, driving off a good distance, then having to ho back to collect the camera for the next shot. The quality of your filming is outstanding. One would think you had a film crew capturing your adventures! Your efforts are appreciated by all of your audience, I am sure. "Anyways" on with the next. Best wishes from UK.

Thanks! Luckily I have Andy with which helps so much with getting a more natural perspective of the journey and he can bounce between the multiple vehicles to capture the conversations etc 👌🏻 it used to be just me and my tripod, which was fun in its own ways but even just an extra set of hands helps so much! 👏🏻

Great footage and definitely ‘bucket list’ for our truck. It seems very possible for a 6 Ton 4x4 truck ?
@RoamOverlanding2 жыл бұрын
It should be possible 👍🏻
@willemstoltz15952 жыл бұрын
Hi Adrian, will it be possible to do the whole route in a high clearance 4x2 bakkie, and how many times did you use 4x4? Great video, thanks.
@RoamOverlanding2 жыл бұрын
You could probably do the whole thing on 4x2 high ground clearance 👍🏻 when my wheels are on gravel I am in 4x4 the whole time. So We did use low range a couple times but it wasn’t needed, just more pleasant to have the control and slower speed. Just go with a friend in case one of you gets stuck.

Your channel really showcases the stunning biodiversity of our country and I look forward to exploring it for myself someday. Question: I see at 09:45 you spotted an old car and stopped. Did you get out and investigate further? It's a Ford Escort Mk1 and if it is a coupé (2 door) they are rather valuable should the body be solid.
