I drove a 79 for almost 10 years as a daily driver and they're still one of my favorite trucks. I love what you're doing with this project, you make me want to get another one and start the build. Thank you.

Its great that you have your boys working on it with you.... I wish I had taken more of an interest when my dad was around, but my now 18 yr old son and I started on a 79 Bronco a couple months ago and we are making progress. My dad would be proud on his grandson.

Hello, i love it! Super bad@ss very well done! However, I have a question? I just bought a straight body, running, and mild rust 78 bronco. As excited as i am to build it up, work has me running 72hr weeks so it's a slow build. My question is, did you build the metal frame that you mounted the panels to or was it bought/standard? i dont have a frame like that in the back of my 78 but really want one lol. Any help on what its called or how to build/acquire one would be very helpful. Again amazing job great build 👏. Brad

Thanks for the videos! So helpful as we dive into our 79. Have done the raptor liner on interior and roof on our 96 and will do some on the 79 as well. Thinking about building in some storage bins on the rear panels. Were you pleased with the chrome grill? I was debating polishing an existing one but am looking for a straighter version to begin working on for a better final product.

Great job! Ready to see that last video! How is the 460efi working out? Would you do it again or would you go a different direction? What’s the gas mileage like? I have a 351m in my 79 that I’m building and considering the 460 swap.
@leadslead521 Жыл бұрын
Hey Kevin I would definitely recommend the 460 swap but would suggest a early 70's engine, would also be a good idea to port/clean the heads up and bump the compressor up to around 10.1, run a small RV cam, that will make a good low-end engine that will get a solid 10 mpg. I'm sure that's around what your modified is getting but man it's a world of difference power wise. I run a carbureted 460 in my bronco and I love it.
