[EP9] Neat 12V Marine Wiring! How To Rewire Your Boat - Cruise Craft Galaxy 585XL

In this episode I rewire the front half of the Cruise Craft which has limited space behind the dashboard. I use a technique where I position the switches inside a protective junction box, and place the fuse box on top. I then terminate and waterproof all joins and make everything appear aesthetic.
My second series features the restoration of a Cruise Craft Galaxy 585 XL. The aim of this series is on high quality fibreglassing and boat repairs/restoration with a budget and DIY still in mind.

Mate loved how you used a junction box to cover the precious side of the switch panel, I'm currently doing a similar rewire and will use this. How did you create a cutout in the back of the junction box? What tools did you use?

Drilled it in 4 corners and cut with a jig saw with the box separated into two.

Your terminals and crimpers are made by who? I have been looking for that style of crimp, and cannot find them. Can you provide a link?

Definitely was not a kit, the enclosure and junction box came from Jaycar, the rest was Red2Go.
