1971-Bobby Murcer on "Beat The Clock" (2nd)

-Second of two programs I have from Bobby Murcer's week on "Beat The Clock" in 1971. This was the last Jack Narz hosted episode that GSN aired as part of the show on the regular program schedule in 1997 before they allowed the rights to the Goodson catalog to lapse for six months. Since 1998 only the Gene Wood hosted shows from 1972-74 have ever been shown on a regularly scheduled basis with Narz episodes aired only on special occasions.

I remember this episode. Bobby Mercer was my favorite Yankee then. Sad Bobby is no longer with us!

Talking about the couples in this episode, I think this was the first time couples started to sleep together with no intention for a marriage. The 60’s and the 70’s (when my parents were in high school) started the liberal sexual revolution 👍 Baby boomers are more badass than we thought.
