Yet the R-rated Banana Splits horror movie is an official Banana Splits movie. I wonder why they want to make a R-rated Banana Splits horror movie? I hope it's not to completely and permanently ends the entire Banana Splits franchise forever with no ever chances of being revived or rebooted again in the future. Maybe it tries to evolved the Banana Splits to be more adult-oriented characters because adults started to have more interested in The Banana Splits than kids today. The horror movie was the second time The Banana Splits become more adult-oriented, the first was the Suicide Squad/Banana Splits crossover comic book in 2017 from DC Comics. Hopefully, they may still use The Banana Splits again eventually in the future despite the R-rated horror movie about them. But imagine if there's a new Banana Splits show on Adult Swim and rated either TV-14 or TV-MA.

What most people don't realize is that there is a 3d verse to they're theme song that goes something like this: "2 Banana, 4 banana, 1 banana, 3 Swinging like a bunch of monkeys hanging from a tree Hey there everybody won't you come along & see How much like Banana Splits everyone can be" I'm just shocked that they didn't include those lyrics in this remake, I mean they let 'Liz Phair & Material Issue' use it in the 1995 'Saturday Morning Cartoons' Greatest Hits' remix project after all.
