🗽It's amazing what you get from where you stand - the whole sky, then THE zoom on the American pavilion😲The pyro there is insane. I'm physically/mentally exhausted & this is a nice thing to end my night with. I'm sure you had to fight the weather/folks for this spot, so thanks friend. 💜

Both shows at epcot and MK seemed shorter/ less fireworks than years prior anyone else noticing that? I went on the 3rd for mk it was nearly 7 minutes shorter than it was the previous time i went it seemdd like

I’m certain it will be exactly the same this year. It would make sense if they changed it for 2026 but I’m not sure if they will.

Anyone else find it telling that when it’s for America, one night a year, Disney only does a 5 minute show? That was some finale though.

My grandfather served in the U.S. Air Force. A couple months after he passed away in December 2022, we took my grandmother to Disneyland. We went to Downtown Disney to eat at Naples Pizzeria and returned to Main Street U.S.A. where Disneyland was just so happening to be conducting their daily Flag Retreat ceremony. During the ceremony the Disneyland band plays the official songs of each branch of the U.S. military. When they started playing “Wild Blue Yonder,” the official song of the U.S. Air Force my grandmother burst into tears and was comforted by a Cast Member that Disney hired as part of Disney’s “Heroes Work Here” veterans hiring program. Her spirits were lifted and she finally came to peace with the loss of her husband of 50 years. When it’s for America, Disney pulls out all the stops.

Epcot incorporates shorter “tags” that play immediately after the evening’s presentation of the normal nightly spectacular (in this case it was “Epcot Forever”). An exception is the “Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration” which is now its own show starting at around 11:50. I believe how it worked in the past is that there were two showings of Reflections of Earth on NYE and the NYE tag played immediately after the second ROE showing. “Celebrate America” at the Magic Kingdom (currently shown on July 3 and 4) is also its own show that lasts longer and supposedly has an original soundtrack.
