I wish I experienced some of those rides and attractions or atleast remembered them.

Well I AM disgusted by the current Epcot, they took away the educational aspect that made Epcot Center Unique, different, and fresh. Epcot Center used to be BETTER than the magic kingdom, but now they decided to replace or refurbish attraction with Frozen, Finding Nemo, and other Disney movie themes, a Magic Kingdom part 2. Yes Epcot is a part of Disney but I don't want to see Finding Nemo in the Living Seas, I want to see the original Living Seas without the kiddie element to it. If I wanted to see the Disney animated characters, then I would go to the Magic Kingdom. I went to Epcot Center in 1985, they had Kitchen Cabaret, the original Journey into Imagination, the original Spaceship Earth, Horizons, Universe of Energy, etc. and had a blast. Please don't be angry by my comments. But going to Epcot nowadays, a definite pass, No thank you!

I had the opportunity to visit in 1983 and it was truly wonderful, inspiring, and life-changing for me at that young age. In today's world, I don't know that anyone could replicate that moment in time with the same sense of optimism and originality of the original EPCOT Center. Though I will miss what was there, I am thankful for what had been. That it happened at all and that I had been there to experience it. Once the remaining construction walls are down, sure, I may go back. It will never be the same. But maybe, someday, there will be new original ideas, characters, and stories to inspire a new generation and I'd be very happy if that came to pass.
