Nick - I went to HHN for the first time ever last year because my husband loves horror movies. I thought I could handle it. I only did 2 houses and I had to stop. It was too much. I don’t enjoy being scared. BUT I would 100% go again for the vibes, food, and nightmare fuel show.

Nick, as someone who has anxiety as well I feel you on being hesitant to go to HHN. The first year I went with my husband I was so overwhelmed I just kept my head down in most of the houses and just followed my him because he was excited to go. A tip I have for you if you do decide to go that I did on my second trip and made a huge difference is bring ear plugs. Taking the sound down at that event made it way less intense and made it bearable for me!

I feel your tiredness I remember working at 4:30am my sleeping hours used to be all over the place. Nick omg I felt when you said you had to block those images from your head. Agreed Nick! I enjoyed watching Tim and Jen’s HHN video but so have to fast forward through the scare zones (torture fare especially). My empath self would not be able to handle it, too many people screaming in fear, too much blood and guts - but happy that other people enjoy it.

Last year HHN in California did not have any mazes in the backlot. Doesn’t look like they will this year either. The terror tram was the only thing in the back lot, with a little walk through. 4 mazes were in the lower lot (just behind Transformers and Mummy). Still a lot of walking with 2 of the upper lot mazes behind Hogwarts near the parking structure.

Yeah I'm Team Nick here. I don't like being scared and a lot of times it just feels too cheesy to me. I couldn't get through 5 minutes through the Horror Nights vlogs and saying nope and switching to something else. Definitely a Mickey's Not So Scary person.

I thought the premier event looked awesome. I looked at prices of going to hhn for 1 night I picked the most expensive night October 26 and added on express and it was $375 for 1 person. So the premier event was cheaper and you got food and drinks included. I hope they continue the event because it is something I would be interested in. I wasn’t going to go this year as we are saving for home renovations unless fnaf was going to be a house or scare zone and since it wasn’t we opted not to go. But if in the future the premier event is a thing we will be doing that

Disney is going to lose customers at these festivals to other parks that are serving better quality food. I haven’t heard any raving about the food and drink. There’s definitely better food booths festivals in the area. Any thoughts??

The food at the Italy pavilion is poop. Sorry guys! I cook that stuff on a regular basis and they don’t do a great job at all. All the Italians that work there are probably crying in the back room. 😂 the focaccia was hard and somewhat stale. The sauce was lacking flavor. Very depressing to say the least
