@Sean-ek5jz5 сағат бұрын
@@nikolakozhuharov1042I don’t think you could call it that since he himself was travelling backwards at the time, not running out to meet the ball. Most of the time that ball goes backwards too and he regathers possession. That’s just my amateur interpretation though.

Leinster and Ireland have now had a dysfunctional lineout for 18 months, why cant they sort it out , is it a coaching issue , or a personnel problem , given the common factor between Leinster and ireland is the leinster players, and both Leinster and Ireland have different coaches, then the logical conclusion is the players are the issue.
@oisinlyons458718 сағат бұрын
The issue with Ireland is that it’s Leinster dominated so when there’s a another provincial player on that line out it causes confusion because of what they are used to but there’s no reason why the Leinster line out should be as poor as what it is
@boru198216 сағат бұрын
Ronan Kelleher is a great player but his darts have always been his weakness. Add that to the fact that the best lineout operator we have in POM is starting from the bench for Ireland and you have two key disadvantages in the lineout.
@Hateeveryone4cku12 сағат бұрын
Everyone know now to just with Ireland or Leinster like they don’t mind kicking it out!
@joebloggs135610 сағат бұрын
At that level, the difference between good lineouts is tiny. You litterally have to be perfect every time. To consistently win all your own lineouts its at the level where the choreography needs to be world class every time. That means that your study of all your opponents lineout strenghts and weaknesses needs to equal that. If even one of your players has a tell and you haven't noticed then you could be in trouble. Because its a game of averages.

Genuine question. In the leadup to the first try the ref calls "Tackle. Knees on the ground" to Leinster so that they stop trying to hold up no.9 yet when they release he continues to run out of the supposed tackle. Surely if he was being held whilst his knees were also on the ground (according to the ref) then it would be illegal for him to get up and keep running? (Minute 3.30 in the highlights)

Two Leinster penalty kicks to touch caught by a Clermont player lurking in touch, catching the ball before it crosses the line and the player landing in-field. Perfectly legal. But being caught by that once is careless, twice is stupid!

Leinster and Ireland again are a calamity in The Lineout , they nearly lost this game by awful execution, The World Cup and Autumn Series highlighted this massive problem, You can’t win at this level when your commitment to destruction of your own Lineout, Time to on back to Rugby 101 the simplest lineout, i.e throw to the front of the lineout, The South African way !!!! My old Rugby hero and My Big Brother best friend back in Munster Mick Galway should be Coaching The Lineout back home , he was the master !!!

When your loosehead prop has more pace than your 6 then there is an issue. Max Deegan was like molasses tonight. Watch him as Porter gives chase (brilliantly) during the Clermont break at 63 minutes...Deegan is barely more than jogging in comparison, and saw it repeatedly. Not sure if there was something wrong with him, but he literally wasn't at the races tonight.

@danielokeeffe6358 because we're better than the teams we've faced. When we face a fully locked and loaded Sharks or Toulouse you'll see what I'm talking about. Or even Northampton. We were lucky to get by them last year.Our lineouts are profoundly busted, our attack has faltered since the exit of Lancaster and historically when we face bigger men we come undone. Yes we're not losing now, but based on what we've seen, we will when it matters.
