Toulouse genuinely have the best club team in the world i think. The best french players making up most of the French team, Jack Willis (who could win games all by himself back when he was in the premiership), Ange Capuozzo the best Italian player and six nations star, and they play instinctively and cohesively. Cant see the european cup past this team

Leinster can beat them both. They kept Toulouse tryless for 80 minutes and could have won in the end. The previous two years they played Toulouse in Dublin and absolutely hammered them. I do think Toulouse and Bordeaux have had a fairly easy ride as all the teams in their pool knew that these two were going to top the pool.

French fan here. I know Toulouse have arguably their best team ever, but one of the best English rugby club should never be conceding 80 points. It's absurd and unacceptable. If English rugby doesn't reform itself quickly, then they are going to end up in second division rugby, like France was between 2012 and 2019 before we finally looked at ourselves in the mirror. I find no pleasure in seeing English clubs destroyed by French clubs. We need strong English teams in this competition otherwise it doesn't make any sense.

@ytevysbhtb2 күн бұрын

Leinster aren't as good. The Irish are flat track bullies and always come up short against truly talented rugby teams. Imagine picking an obese hooker on the wing just because he has a long left boot. Lowe is anti rugby like Ireland. Although the refs seem to ignore the thuggery and constantly being offside. I'd say Glasgow are in the mix as much as Leinster. Glasgow actually play rugby.

This is rugby on a new level. I think a new statistic is needed after watching this match which is 'points per line break'. Toulouse are clearly practicing either converting line breaks directly or off the next phase. In otherwords the first ruck after the line break is being trained for by Toulouse to produce 7 pointers. This is new I think.

As a french supporter Joubert in 2011's final was a disgrace, plain and simple. O'Keefe in 2023 made a bad decision at the end on Kwagga Smith's contest but France should have been so much higher on the scoreboard in the differential that it shouldn't have been that close, it's on France that one.
@jeromeh7985Күн бұрын
@jean-christophefouquet9553 It is so easy to trace a line to establish there was a knock on, it is so easy to see he crossed the line before the kicker fist move but he better not used the TMO. And so many others biased decisions. After all 99% of the kiwis fans were supporting their Commonwealth/Southern Hemisphere buddies (no wrong there) before the quarter final, O'Keefe was yet another biased fan of the SA team, if you know you will be biased you should resign if you are honest. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZewZHqfabGcqJosi=TJx60T_FcrSr9IhH

Doesn't bode well necessarily that's for sure, England hasn't been a force since 2019 to be honest, as a french supporter the England squad isn't far from the best, not quite there but not far. What is puzzling though is the inability from english players to think and play what is front of them, beside M.Smith who is good but not that great, and to think a bit outside out of the box from a too much structured game. The rugby IQ seems lacking, there is quality in there but like if they play with some kind of mental handbrake.
