Once you figure out the little tricks that parry lords use, they become very easy to attack. For instance, most heavy attacks aren't parryable, so if they are foolish enough to try and parry a heavy attack instead of dodging they might be in for a surprise. Unfortunately tho, they'll just roll away, chug some estus, and sneak a critical hit in that instakills you.

This is my first impression of Dark Souls. I heard it’s really cool, and I wanted to play it. Now that I watched this, I *need* to play it.

if yoi care about story more, go ds1 first, if you care about easing into the series with the easier, more forgiving games, do ds3. DS2 and Demon Souls in my experience were harder to get into on the first playthrough, but Demon Souls eventually became easy. DS1 overall has easier bosses, but you need to use your resources better unlike yoi like farming, where as in ds3 you can just buy about anything with souls. Don't go hollow, and prepare for some toxic invaders or really nice ones.

I really hope you enjoy it! Personally ds3 is more fun as ds1 is a bit janky now, though the first half is honestly so brilliant and definitely worth it! The atmosphere and lore is just impeccable. Top tier imo.

@@ashenamber2305 see I'm the opposite, ds2 is by far the easiest imo, and the only soulsbourne game I've beaten to date... I've made it to the final boss on Sekiro (which has officially become my favorite FromSoft game) but he keeps clapping my cheeks...

Be careful though once you play it you will want to binge the series and play the other masterpieces by fromsoftware that are bloodborne and seikiro. Then once you finish u will go hollow from lack of souls until elden ring drops.
