it was so comforting to know that we don't always start this journey with knowing the fullness or comprehend the love of Christ. I'm watching my teenager and smaller kids grow in Christ and its been a challenge and delight. I pray i get to see Rom 8:38 fill their hearts... thank you sister Sue.

Much love to you. I understand. Studying the inspired words of the books written by Paul along with praying for understanding changed my life. Yes the old flesh can still be troublesome at times but it gets easier and easier to put it behind and embrace the beautiful blessing of the gospel of grace. Love beyond our understanding.

Ask Him to take the false ways ( whatever that maybe)and reveal His truth. He is so faithful. He has been slowly transforming me .... Step-by-step little by little.... I was so sad all the time and just wanted to hide from everything...so I cried deep from my heart for Him to help me.....Open your heart completely and rest in the mind. Let Him in. All the years I've been studying the Bible but never realized that I had not opened myself up completely in my heart ....Until now and I'm 43 years old. (Been raised in a church setting... fell away for a long while growing up.).... It's never too late. As long as you have air in your lungs. He is faithful.... He loves you more than you know. He's a good God. The only one I know ....Or rather say getting to know. ❤

Know that you most certainly are not alone in your feelings as other converts felt the same! There's an interview Allen Parr did with a man who converted from being a Mormon to Christian. He stated that he did feel anxious, faced disapproval from his church, friends, and some relatives. Luckily, he (and some of his immediate family members) found peace and a safe home in Christ. I pray you do so as well, welcome home brother!🤍
