I was married as a non believer to another non believer but got saved 4 years into the marriage. I was desperate to see my husband saved and nagged him constantly at the beginning to change. Then the Holy Spirit began to teach me about the verse quoted about not saying a word but by my conduct to win my husband to the Lord. I also prayed every day for him that God would soften his heart and open his ears to see Jesus. As I submitted to God's will for me in my marriage and stopped arguing with my husband he started to change. It took 6 years but finally he did give his heart to Christ. It was a wonderful moment when he finally said he would accompany me to church and then ultimately make a real commitment. I realised that this was the right way to behave and trust God to do all He could also to save my man. It brought much blessing to us both. Thank you for teaching the truth about submission its not being a doormat but respect.

I didn't understand the beauty of submission until this study in Ephesians and Pastor Mike Winger's teaching on same. I enjoyed both studies and I can now appreciate what these scriptures command. It helps that with the scripture and implications I can also identify why my parents marriage is struggling. The lack of submission, love and forgiveness have hurt their relationship. When we rebel against God's design we suffer but such is the challenge of this flesh 😔. I'll keep praying for them. The feminism movement falsely paints biblical submission as a kind of slavery, outdated and oppressive.

This was great! I’m a very strong headed woman and will take charge if and when I have to in life. However, I do submit (like what was explained) to my husband. Like Pastor said, he doesn’t like to be the head position, but I know that God had put him in that position for a reason and I’ll love support and respect him.❤❤

If I was a woman in todays world this would be hard.....but as a man being obedient to the Lord our commission sometimes seems unreachable but it saved my marriage and my soul trying to implement and obey with regards to my role as husband.

26:20 What a women should do if her husband is neglecting or rejecting his roles as head.

As a man I see how complex and difficult it is, it really changes us towards perfection and a lot of my growth is based in the Lord telling me to focus on my role as husband as he commanded. So looking at a believing wife to a husband that's not focused on this must be extremely complex and difficult for the woman. may the Lord give you strength and interfere in your husbands life so that he comes to the full knowledge of his role....

Then she is still submitting because God said to do it. I honestly believe God will work through a Godly woman to change an ungodly man. She should teach her children Christian principles, have a Christian home, keep a strong personal relationship with God. I saw my dad come to Christ because my mama was biblically submissive to him. She was amazing during the start of the feminist movement in the 60’s. I appreciate what she taught me through her actions! Blessings, debby
