Hi Kim 🙋❤️ I have spent a few weeks now on the 2nd session of Ephesians!!! I couldn't go any further ... so much in this few verses!!! it is truly mind blowing, to grasp the dept of this truth .... I went over and over again to let it think deep into my heart as I meditated and memorised the verses. Where was I all this years? yes I love the Lord dearly very much, but that truth what I just set on this weeks never get to me in that way!!! I'm not the youngest anymore (72 by the way) and I want to finish strong "in Him" ❤️ It got me SO excited that He has chosen me before the foundation of the world, had me on His mind, adopted me, redeemed me, forgiven me, lavished His grace on me!!! my heart just makes flip flops, my old bones wouldn't keep up doing flip flops anymore hihihi 😄 I sure look very much forward for the next sessions 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 Thank you so so much Kim for dedicating your time and gifting to us the wider body, I'm eternally grateful for all what you teaching us. The LORD bless you, and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26 Love and blessings ❤️ Irene Thompson from Perth Wester Australia 🇦🇺

I love the way you teach...so many times when women teach they relate it solely to us as women, wives, mothers...and there is nothing wrong with that. So far I see you teaching us as believers without distinction of woman, wife, etc and I need like it very much. The scripture comes alive under your teaching and your love and excitement about the Scriptures is infectious. I want to binge watch you now that I've found you, but I won't, instead I have chosen to savor the Truth you deliver in each teaching. I am. grateful to you for your faithfulness and purpose and I'm grateful for God leading me to your teaching treasures. I have started both Ephesians and Cling...loving them both!!!

Dear Sister, Grace to you. I am so happy to have discovered you for the first time. Thanks for Father that has given you understanding, revelation and wisdom to believe and preach about Election. Nine out of ten pastors do not believe nor teach Election, I guess for fear of loosing gave of their congregation. Continue to preach and teach the true WORD of GOD.

Yep! This is my testimony...I grew up in a roman catholic home...knew about God but did not have a personal relationship with Christ...have family members who worship "Allah" and other "traditional religions", I was utterly confused and messed up to say the list...yet God called and chose me in 2005 in my room while I was living in New Westminster, British Columbia, suburb of Vancouver...my spirit was regenerated... I never looked back...still flawed but being perfected day by day...not always an easy journey but more precious than silver or gold...God chose me...I ain't got nothing to do with it (please excuse my English:) ). In 2013 He also chose my baby sister and brother in law and by the Grace of God, I believe also that salvation will be within the walls of our family...praying for them to encounter Christ like we did...God is good and awesome. What bible dictionaries will you recommend to complement Bible study...they are so many and I suffer sometimes from overwhelm :) I am in love with this Ephesians study. May God bless you richly Sister!

This is so beautiful, sis...it's so GOD to take our messed up, confused souls and utterly transform us for His glory. (And I was in Vancouver last summer so I could almost picture you there:)) Thank you for sharing your testimony, and rejoicing with you over God's lavish grace toward your sister and brother-in-law. Bible dictionaries...I have a few myself. :) What I use most is The Complete Word Study Dictionary (New Testament) by Zodhiates...in conjunction with the Interlinear Greek-English New Testament. Let me know if you have any questions about it. So thankful you're loving this study. May God continue to bless you richly as well!

My spirit wanted to leap up!! This was such a blessing to me. I have been breaking down chapter one of this book, this week, and it truly has changed me and blew me away. I really see God and how wonderful he truly is. It blew me away, and I say to God our minds are so small we couldn't even contain a small chizzle of the fullness of who you are, but thank you for what our brains are able to contain and comprehend. You are a great teacher of the word, you made it really simple to understand. I had been reading the bible, but not really breaking down the verses, but when I started breaking them down( becoming a student of the word) a whole new wealth of knowledge and understanding was open up to me. There are treasures and joy in understanding the hidden knowledge in God's word, I feel so alive, and so grateful to God, and the closer relationship I have with him through dialogue with him and of course the word!!.

This is so awesome! There's nothing like becoming a student of the word. You're so right...a whole new wealth of knowledge and understanding opens up! And you truly to grow closer in your relationship with God. Praising God with you and so thankful that He used this teaching on your journey. Many blessings to you as you enjoy Him and His word!

This is fascinating to me. I'm currently taking an undergrad English course studying the works of the poet Milton. We're covering the background of the times of the Protestant Reformation and Martin Luther and double predestination. Your biblical breakdown really puts this academic study into perspective. Thanks for sharing with us!!

Great study. Predestination is hard to grasp. I remember hearing a Bible teacher describe our concept of time as linear much like parade route but that God ,outside of time and space, could look down from beginning to end. It gave me a hint of understanding. You teach with such inspired passion. I ask the Lord for lasting passion in His Word and thank Him for guiding me here.

Kim could you teach us how to memorize a whole book? This is amazing ... what a study so many of us who grow up in the church miss all these elements because we read verses here and there ! In contrast -When I complete a book study focusing on one book at a time God really reveals himself to me. One reason I love BSF

Kim, I'm exploring the subject of election and predestination a lot lately and came across your video. I also had already studied ephesians and it is exciting for the child of God. However, I can't get past the fact that if God chose certain people, that means he didn't choose others and they are doomed to hell. According to reformed theology, they are responsible for their sin and copable for punishment, yet they through out thier life , since they were not chosen, could not have been saved. Ephesians says" chosen in love " Well for the person who is not chosen, it sure isn't love. I don't know, I'm still grappling with this and it seems to be a pill I can't swallow. I have become aware that there are other interpretations of ephsians 1and 2, Romans 9 , john 6 and other proof texts and they seem to make so much more sense to me. (I'm not talking about looking down through the corridors of time interpretation) I was wondering if you have explored the non calvinistic interpretations of these texts? And if you have why you do not think they are valid? Thank you.

Thank you for your time and effort in helping others to understand God's word and how to live a life worthy of our calling. I have one question? Do you believe that God predestins only certain people and not others? Like in the example of Esau and Jacob in the OT? Or can anyone receive Christ as their Lord and receive salvation? I need to understand this part?
@self-worthrestored5 жыл бұрын
Anyone can receive salvation. I believe that God has given everyone equal opportunity but He knows who will accept Him. He wishes that all would come to repentance 2 Peter 3:8 -10. Just like Saul hardened his heart when the Lord tried to encourage him, so it is that some people will harden their hearts against God. God cannot choose them. He is not waiting on us to make our decision but He has chosen us before the foundation of the world because He knows those who would respond to His calling. I hope that makes sense.

You are very Calvinistic. Predestination and Election are never about salvation. They are always about service. The Calvinist god takes the good out of The Good News. The POWER of the Gospel is so powerful that all hearers are able to respond. Just because all don’t believe and respond doesn’t mean they can’t. In Ephesians, Paul is telling those who are “in Christ” (because they heard and believed) are chosen to to be adopted. Because they heard the Gospel and believed. Soteriology 101. Find it on KZbin.
