I saw an article on a translation of a tablet with Amalekite language on it. I can't attest to the accuracy of the report.

The Amalekites were slaughtered by the Israelites every man, woman and child. Ironic in some ways today.

God told Israel to wipe these people out. God gave Amalakites over 475 years to repent from Abraham's time. Amalek was a giant. These giants were Nephilim and this hybrid race corrupted the rest of the people around them. Yes, there were regular humans but also giants leading them. These same giants corrupted the earth in Genesis 6 and God wiped out all life on earth except Noah and family and animals with him on Ark. God had good reason to devote Amalakites to destruction.
