Never understood Ephram's dad's decision to hide away his child. I mean, they weren't dirt poor or anything. Ephram and his kid wouldn't have had to move to a trailer park and flush his great pianist career down the toilette. Never understood how you can take that kinda decision away from your grown-up son...

In general, I liked them together. However, I really didn't like the pregnancy thing. He was 16/17 and she was a uni student and paid to be their babysitter. Then her and her friend both expected his dad to be supportive and help with the baby when really, it was complicated and on the border of a crime. He was mature for his age and she understood him, but once she got pregnant, she treated him like a child and didn't involve him in her future plans. He wasn't considered as mature enough. So the way they ended made me uncomfortable.

I wasn't crazy about it either, especially because if you reverse the genders, mayhem would've occurred. I also didn't like that the father wasn't going to clue him in either. I understand that he wanted to protect his son after everything he went through, but that still wasn't his decision to make. Terrible storyline.
