1:16 "Game is over" - judging by the minimap alone, it would seem so. However, I usually glance at the HP delta to make early predictions, and at tier X, around 5k delta is usually when I feel like it's snowballing enough to make a call, although there are exceptions.

absolutely right, 2-3K hit points gap at tier X is just equivalent to losing one MT or HT tanks thanks to their large HP pool. Whilst 5K HP is equivalent to losing 2 tanks and that can completely affect the outcome of the match.

A nice strat for the arty is to hide near the enemy's cap. So he times his cap when the enemy starts capping. I guess there would be enough time for a draw.
