Rachel, all that matters is that YOU feel like you're making progress and making a dent while decluttering. When I go through old clothes (only about once or twice a year, mind you) I always feel like I give a lot away... and then I notice just how much I still have. So keep on decluttering, and figure out WHY you're keeping what you're keeping. That is the key.

You can call a drawer Strike one and another strike 2 and the 3rd You’re our so you can put stuff that didn’t work in them. The first one is stuff that might work if I try it with a different application or setting spray etc. 2nd drawer is crap I really want to work and I’m willing to give it just one more try and the 3rd one is crap that won’t work and needs to go.

Hey Rach! Why don't you start a declutter series and tackle each category apart, like (decluttering primers, foundations, lipstick lipglosses...) Be more cutthroat with it .. lay down everything on the floor and separate them into brands and then choose the one that you love most and will repurchase again to keep, and part with the rest. That way you give away stuff you don't use rather to leave them ignored in the drawers until they go bad. 😊😊

Ahhhhhhhh so satisfying. Would it be helpful to have a pen, a pad of posits (or small notepad) and a few larger Ziploc bags in the bins for your video ideas so you can bag everything together and write yourself a note?

That tall unit could be used to plan out upcoming videos. A simple post it note on the outside with the title/planning notes of what you want to do with the contents or what you still need (waiting for orders to come in). OR with past video products so that you can do updates after longer use. Does that make sense?

Maybe you could use that taller unit to sort out makeup you know you won't/can't use and plan to give away or donate. Like a couple of drawers for unopened donations, a couple for open-but--able-to-be-donated, and a couple for sisters and friends for you to give them or let them go through when they come over. Then they won't get lost in your collection and when they get full you don't even really have to sort, you can just empty them and send the stuff on its way!

Maybe u could use the tall empty drawers as your idea drawers. If you think of an idea for a video write it down on a piece of paper n place it in a drawer and then as you get products gathered for that idea place them together w the piece of paper and that way u can be collecting stuff for multiple videos at the same time w out seeing the clutter... Just an idea...❤️🇺🇸💋

michelleu2384 I was going to recommend the same thing (empty drawer unit for upcoming videos). I would move th pallettes from the baskets into the drawers with the chalk labels. And I would use the baskets for incoming products that need sorting and outgoing products. I would also get an Ikea 4x4 shelf instead of the 2 different ones you have that way you can have more baskets that fill the whole cubby.

Girl yes! These are so therapeutic to watch :) I decluttered all my makeup and beauty products a few months ago and it's so much nicer getting ready and not having the clutter in the way of products you love! I think when I started watching beauty videos on KZbin 6 years ago it was almost "trendy" to collect makeup and have a ton of products to show. I was guilty of doing it in my personal life. Now everyone is going minimalistic and decluttering so much stuff!

One suggestion I have is getting drawer inserts as apposed to dividers! With inserts there's more spots for more specific organization so you'd truly know where everything is! Really love decluttering series, can't wait for the rest :)

The next time you do this you should make a video for each kind of product so like eyeshadow palletes is a video and foundations are a separate video. Like that, I love watching these videos expesially when they are long like 20-30 min but even if your doing the separate videos and they are like 10 min they are still so satisfying to watch! But the most important thing is you feel better in the end! Love your channel!!!❤️

Love, love, love this series!!! I would love to see lip drawer declutters (1 for each drawer) and I would like to see a straighten up of your everyday unit. As for the tall Alex unit it may useful for putting together video looks, like a drawer for review, or Instagram chooses your makeup that way you can set it up by look and use the other unit to sort PR, current reviews and other video ideas that may not fit into the Alex drawers.
