Lasers? The routing of the beam through the smoke would be tricky, but it would be cool. Or if you want to be safe, maybe some side viewing LEDs to add some extra drama.

Yeah. I toyed with that idea, but decided to avoid it. It's actually quite obvious in the real world when it smokes up, it's just hard to make it obvious on video.

Wow Mark! You truly captured him in all his glory! I wish I could get a printer and print this out and do something similar, but the finances just won't allow it right now. If you decide to print more of the clear ones to sell let me know!

Great video. Love Godzilla. If you’re still looking for a better way to remove your epoxy dams when using hot glue, try a heat gun. It’ll soften the glue and it’ll be much easier to break away from your diorama base. Just not too hot or it’ll be a big gooey mess.

Found your channel via 3D printing Generals video titled " Good 3D Printing Channels Under 10K Subs Pt 3" and Boy o boy was I not disappointed. A definite sub from me. I love this project and this is the whole reason I got into 3D printing. I used to buy miniatures and paint them but wanted to take it further. Thank you so much for this project and video.

Amazing work, Mark, such skills! KamuiCosplay did a video on smoke machines for cosplay last year using vape cartridges. An interesting thing she pointed out was that they come in two different coil resistances - around 0.6 ohms and 1.8 ohms. If you're building something battery powered you definitely want to find and use the 1.8 ohm ones.
@MarkRhodesMaker4 жыл бұрын
I guess it depends on the size of your batteries. I used an even bigger cartridge with batteries in the Genie Lamp vid :)

I don't know, maybe you don't like it. It can be a Pacific RIM robot, with the same godzilla technique, and the kaijus, underwater, of course without smoke hahahaha. and with a back wall illuminated in the shape of the portal of the universe of those monsters at the bottom of the sea, oops I exaggerated a lot hahaha

Amazing workmanship. I wonder if with the right nozzle and pulsing of the pump, you might be able to get him to blow smoke rings. LOL

That's awesome dude. I stumbled upon this video during a search. I'm currently investigating miniatures and printing my own poorly slapped together Godzilla attacking a mini city using existing models. Got me thinking about retaining higher detail by putting together dioramas in mesh mixer using added fence posts/bushes/buildings/whatever is easy to print, looks good and is suitable etc as support material for other miniatures in the scene using clever positioning to reduce required supports whilst adding details to the scene, then merging all models as a single mesh/shell. Print times would be long but cleaning supports less necessary and cool scenes! What do you reckon?
@MarkRhodesMaker4 жыл бұрын
Honestly I think you'll struggle with it! Meshmixer is not the most reliable of apps at the best of times, and that sounds like a pretty complicated thing for it!
@TheAndyroo7704 жыл бұрын
@@MarkRhodesMaker I gave up on that idea and just got better at adding/removing supports!

Also, I'm surprised the 3.7 V LiPo works fine without a 5 V boost converter
@MarkRhodesMaker5 жыл бұрын
I was surprised the first time I tried it, but since then I just use the 3.7V Lipos for everything. They are so cheap and convenient, way easier than 5V or using 18650s.

A beautiful build, Mark. Maybe consider across over with the Aussie KZbinr Jazza, dude also does amazing work. This was a solid video the only constructive criticism to give is to relocate your mike as it seems your beard was taping against it. Just perhaps move it a bit lower on your shirt or slightly askew to avoid contact and you should be aces.
@MarkRhodesMaker5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! My beard has gotten longer, and I didn't realise the noise until it was too late. Noted for next time :) I'll check out Jazza

The github page seems to be missing the aquarium pump on the parts list and fritzing diagram. Is it wired in parallel with the vape cartridge to the relay?
