WTFPurpleAlpaca I sometimes prebuild/test designs in creative before building it in survival. But then when I just go for it in survival I find it more satisfying to get something ok while in creative it needs to look perfect. Same for the game Space Engineers.

@@noahraikes9374 no. The build height is 256, because any higher would exceed the 32bit max integer. 1 block is 4,096 bits (16x16x16 "pixels"). 1 chunk is 268,435,456 bits (16x16x256 blocks). Average render distance is 8 chunks. 8 chunks is 2,147,483,648 bits. 32bit max bits is 2,147,483,647. So that means 8 chunks is 1 higher, causing an overflow, which would delete the entire 8 chunks if not corrupt it. Obviously no 8 rendered chunks are gonna have every spot filled with a block; but other stuff uses bits as well, like items in a chest, or books, or item frames, or armour stands, or the player and their inventory, etc. Going over the interger limit would reset the chunks back to the latest save before the overflow

I'm working actually on several books ( you know, i got an idea, wrote some pages and later i moved to another one ), but only two fantasy ones: Blue Flame and Silvering ( that's my own name of the sword of main character ), both are parts of a series ( first will be longer, Silvering series will be a trilogy i think, i got this idea a week ago and i didn't plan everything yet ). Well, it didn't work out maybe because it's not your genre? I had that, i started writing some realistic, non-fantasy books and the process of writing wasn't as smooth as it is when i'm writing fantasy. Maybe you didn't feel the time? I mean, you were trying to wrote a story set in a don't know, middle-ages, but it didn't feel well and smooth? I had that too, when i was trying to write some Sci-fi, i just didn't feel like writing about the future is my thing. If you want to write a book, try to write some short stories first or anything. And set them in different times and all, just so you could compare which one was the best for you and where you feel like you were writing smoothly and fast. Because if You're writing very smoothly, fast, quick and You're falling into the story ( when you kill a character, you're sad or anything ), that's the right thing and book.

I'm close to the end of my book of stories ( something like Andrzej Sapkowski's "Last Wish", you know what I mean ), which is kinda a prequel to the Blue Flame and it starts the entire saga. Howewer i made a mistake. I could publish it right it, but... When i started writing it, i was 12, i didn't had many experience and sadly the three first stories were poorly written, so i decided to rewrite them. I rewrote the first one already and i'm in the end of the second one. Therefore i'm really close to finishing my first fantasy book! And again, thanks for your feed back!
