I thought this was incredibly revealing. Andy's depth of character is astounding to me. Learning in front of a camera and appreciating the progress, and then calling it a day before you get so fatigued that you injure yourself. Also, JD so talented and patient and articulate. There is no pretense in that room whatsoever. Thanks for showing us what honest, genuine, intelligent people look like.

@Daz Macca maybe he does ollied indy grabs and bonks different, im giving him the benefit on the doubt.

@Daz Macca I also thought that Aaron was progressing much quicker on vert than is shown in episodes but didnt he just broke his wrist lol. Chance is that content is somewhat scripted here and there.

@Daz Macca ur acting like that 11 year old isn’t a world better than Andy at vert. If you think Andy was faking and failing on purpose for content you clearly don’t know the type of person he is.
@porkfriedrice15303 жыл бұрын
@Daz Macca you really think skating is as easy as JD makes it look?
@porkfriedrice15303 жыл бұрын
@Daz Macca “failing on easy tricks,” “simple vert tricks” there you go. I get what you’re saying but it’s not like Andy is going to the next olympics, but he will probably get to one in the next 15 years. He does not know every trick on every platform yet. And as a skater myself I’ll just say again, this is not an easy trick. JD is very talented and Andy learns very fast

Enjoyed every second of the video. So much positive vibes. I am not a skater myself but a lot of stuff Andy does to help him get the motion and coordination felt pretty much the same when I am trying to learn new things on my drum kit. You need to trick your mind quite a lot by tackling the problem from different angles and have short breaks in the learning process to let the brain process the stuff.

This is what it looks like when two badasses in any field get together. It's not a competition, there's no tension between them--they're just trying to get from point A to point B together. It's not about *who* arrives at the correct answer, just that that answer arrives.
