Gorgeous products Thea! I want to get a large set of the Henri Roche Pastels but I have to save up for them. I would love to see the cardigan your sister makes. That was a beautiful panel. I really enjoyed when you shared your trip to Reinbeck with us.

hehe They were having such a wonderful time! They’ve realized the importance of an “everyday” birthday hat 🥳 Thankyou for the birthday wishes! It’s been quite a year for all of us! Remember in the beginning Rosie and Millie would not get along & I kept hoping for the day they’d be friends, whew! What an effort! 🤗✨💗💗💗

After watching your video I decided to order the Get Messy journal. I just received it today and I am so glad I ordered. It is a very unique and well made journal. Next one on my list to order is the marbled cover journal. Thank you for suggesting.

Fabulous haul with so many wonderful products! My favourite was the marbled watercolour sketchbook. Stunning! I've not seen that Michael Harding dot card before. I've been collecting some of his watercolours here in Oz. They're very pigmented and gorgeous, aren't they. The puppy birthday party was adorable! Aw, their little party hats...🥰🥰

Gorgeous items and now I have things to give my husband for my Christmas list . Love the blue by A gallo . The pinks too and I’m not a pink girl. I thought etchr notebooks were expensive . I love all your palette colors . Most of my wc are Daniel Smith since in USA they are so easy and cheap to access. I have some beautiful etsy from Masha watercolor and 31purplefish which are big in the states but they are cheap compared to your haul. Unfortunately the paper your share the shop is closed and has nothing in stock .

Oh just what I was hoping for! A kind of unofficial Gift guide! Certainly the sketchbook & walnut palette & pastels will be in my Christmas gift guide.. . They are quite expensive {I like to use my KZbin earnings for higher ticket items to showcase beautiful things out there on the market} but they are definitely worth every penny! The sketchbook does come in smaller sizes to try {when we got two at a museum gift shop, I’d checked on Mums that it was blank & just assumed mine was too, if it didn’t have lines I wouldn’t have even looked on their website trying to find a blank one, but I was so pleasantly surprised when I saw the Amalfi cotton paper ones!} The thing with the sketchbook is I mean it’s nothing like any other art sketchbook type book, it’s heavy & really exquisite Italian craftsmanship, you can definitely feel that it’s worth the money! Even my little blue one I love so much! {if anyone gets one or has experience with these books please let us know your thoughts!} As far as compared to Etchr, I haven’t tried the perfect sketchbook, but I got a small white one & the smell about knocked me out, I couldn’t air it out & that chemical smell was there for months, I feel like if I’d gotten the larger one I probably would have passed out at my desk it was that severe, I’m not sure if they still have that strong smell or maybe I just got a bad one, but these Italian books have no smell except the leather & paper.. . the only thing is that the paper is thinner.. . I like that because more pages to me means I’ll use the book more & not be precious with it, & with the amount of pagesin it, this could take 3-5 years for me to even fill! It’s really like investing in a large heirloom art piece that you can contribute to! Ooh Masha Watercolors! I hadn’t heard of them until I was recently lookin up ceramic palettes, & I did purchase one of the palettes I’d like to add my watercolors & pearls to.. . That might be ready to show for my Christmas Gift Guide! Have you tried her palettes? I think the Greenleaf & Blueberry blues are definitely very expensive, but I’ve found them to last a long time & be again, a very luxurious product.. . I think the hard thing with doing a video like this is that I’ve been saving up & buying these over a long period of time, but when you see it & want it all at once it’s quite overwhelming.. . Sorry about that! 😬 please definitely pace yourselves! There’s often been things on my wishlists for years *until I could organize them! Thanks for your thoughts! Have a lovely week! 🤗✨🌸🪷💝🎨 *edit P.S Also, I always recommend looking for local alternatives that might be similar but more affordable because they’re local to you, so absolutely feel free to use this as more like Inspiration than an actual list as well! 🌬️✨✨✨

You did not do the watercolor sticks justice. They are perfect for travel and takes the place of 4-6 pans. Can be used so many ways.
@eaupoetique2 ай бұрын
Ok thanks for the feedback.. . Do you have a video you’d recommend? Do you have a good way to store them for travel? I feel like as soon as you wet the tips they start to get color everywhere & id be covered in color if I was traveling
@feverdreamer68702 ай бұрын
@@eaupoetique I thought you did great- you swatched them for us in a haul of so many things- I wouldn’t expect an in depth discussion of them yet 💖 most people just chop them up and put them in half pans, but that makes the stick shorter faster, which defeats the purpose in my opinion.
@derwood2062 ай бұрын
Love your supply demo; such a lovely set of colors you've created! I definitely don't use the watercolor sticks the same way. :). I touch the watercolor stick with a wet brush and then paint directly on the paper, like Daniel Smith calls them, "a pan in the hand". I haven't broken them up but they live in their own slot in a DS watercolor stick case. The St Louis Art Supply video has everyone dipping them in water, melting them and drawing. (I guess thats one way to get people to buy more ha) i definitely don't like the lines left behind when i tried to draw with them. I use American Journey watercolor sticks or Neocolor 2's in that way to draw and re-wet instead :) Daniel Smith has quite a few livestreams on YT where they use them so i learned more about them that way.

I wouldn’t even dare to wish for any of all you give away… maybe, find some hope? I have no money to purchase even a fifth of all this nice supplies. I’m retired from a hard sickness with a lot of pain. The only thing that give some relief is painting. But up have to be careful, and not use up all the material I have. Don’t know when I can buy new.
@sueallen9526 күн бұрын
@cecilialofgren1396 art supplies don't have to cost the earth, its the process and enjoyment of doing it that's important, if you have a B&M? They sell really reasonably priced art stuff which is not bad quality and amazon sell cheap watercolours that are not bad, I always check reviews

Your name (eau poetique) means "poetic water"? Poetry of color would be "la poésie de la couleur"...if that's what you meant to say. If you were just making up a cute French sounding name then my mistake. I apologize.

love your couch Thea...but sadly the repetitiveness of the "jingle"...which the beautiful piece of music has now become for me, makes it hard to sit through your whole video...which is a shame...as I LOVE your content...and I wish for a different sound landscape on your channel after years of this same...what has turned into a "jingle" to me....but I know you must love it...and this is your channel...just thought you may like to know, that, there may be others, like me, who ears are hurting at just 40 minutes, and like me, need to take a break from the "now noise"...though a lovely piece of music...I hope to come back after my my break...but...probably will get lost somewhere else. Anyways...lovely pastels and love your couch drawing with your new pastels...Henri Roche...yes...very pigmented and rich...What do you use for protection from the pigment particles Thea? Without knowing the pigment content...they make these little finger socket thingies...you can put on your index finger, to protect the skin from potentially dangerous pigments...Maybe you are aware...but don't like them. enjoy your beautiful new supplies...Janis in The Yukon Canada

Right I will try to find some more music.. . It’s very hard to find some that suits, I’ve looked for hours & then I can’t get the videos done because I spent that time looking for music & found none but don’t have more time to edit the videos.. . So it’s a difficult one to balance.. . If I try different types of music, I get feedback that it doesn’t suit the channel.. . Arghh! I’ll keep looking but unfortunately I just can’t fix everything.. . Thanks for the feedback!

@annelouise46392 ай бұрын
@@eaupoetique Your choice of music is absolutely fine. It suits your lovely videos perfectly, in my opinion.
@eaupoetique2 ай бұрын
Look, in reality you listen to the music on my channel for 10- 15 minutes every two weeks. It’s very hard to find music that suits. We don’t have volumes of music available to us. Most channels do have a theme song or reuse music and I like that, it tells me whose channel I’m watching. There were 3 songs in this video. I rotate about 10 but they do all sound similar. A lot of people find the music relaxing and a good compliment to the visuals. No one helps me with the videos, not a husband, not a friend or an assistant, I have to figure everything out, often when I’m exhausted & like last video I’d been sick all week but tried really hard to get a beautiful video to you without complaining of how much work it had been. There are plenty of other art channels you can watch, or I can cut out half the content and speed up the rest. The intro and outro often takes me an extra two hours to organize those little bits of footage which a lot of people appreciate that help add to the relaxing atmosphere and help them get excited about the upcoming video. I try to take on feedback, “don’t say um as much, do more of this, don’t do that” etc, but Please if you want to add criticism, add a solution as well, otherwise it just becomes very distressing & honestly {when I say honestly I mean you can’t even know how much} I don’t feel like doing videos anymore, because no one sees how hard they are for me to actually make and I don’t know how to fix the problem or if I can. I hope this helps you to understand where I’m coming from, I am willing to take music suggestions, but please, let’s just not have any more drama about the music, I really doubt I’ve ruined the music, it was made to be added to these videos and I’ve barely ever heard it on any other channels.
