This was the best BC One in years. It's damn impressive to see Hong 10, the oldest bboy in the competition still managing to get to the finals and pull off a 2-3. Almost everyone that has won a title has been in their mid to late 20's. But because Bboying has evolved so fast guys like Issei(2016)and Shigekix(2020) have won their titles before being 21. But, participating wise, Issei first participated at 15-16 years old in 2012. Shigekix was about the same age in 2017 and went to the semi finals. Just recently Issin, another Japanese bboy, participated and went to the semis at 17 years old

There have been 14 unique BC One champions. 10 of them won their first title either as teenagers or in their early 20's. 2 of the remaining 4 unique champions won their first title at 25, and the last 2 won at 28 and 29. In terms of straight physical ability, top-tier breakers tend to peak in their early 20's, have to start adapting to their age during their mid-to-late 20's, and fall off once they enter their 30's. Hong 10 is an anomaly; he's 38 now and still a top contender/improving. He just won the Korean national championships.

Hong 10 and issei are at different level. Hong 10's move is much cleaner and solid, while Issei's is just smooth and soft without explosive force and pause. Even issei's last set is not a very impressive move from "high-level power move" perspective. Plus, this event was held in Japan, so the audience was more hype with issei. Tl:dr : hong 10 should've taken it in overall perspective.

because hong 10 have weak point, in musicality, and issei have greatest musicality, and hong 10 repeat many move and freeze (2 finger) in before battle, and he sets boring, same sets years by years, issei have fresh sets (2015), great musicality, KILL THE BEAT, and no repeat same move, that make issei close win againts hong 10
