I think Larva's real mistake was to let Bisu taking the center. To be fair, both players did amazing in battles ! And it was quite funny to hear Falcon's surprise because you didn't notice every zerg bases were out of minerals :D

I think it was ok, i think he lost cuz of trying to go up the ramp at that last 2 bases of bisu. When he killed natural he should have set up lurker contain

@@user-nv1qp4jr7p Not really, watch at the end, falcon dont look close to it but seems that larva ran out of minerals on his last expansions, while bisu has a lot to gather on his "second" natural and plenty more on the high ground base. @JJtoutcourt its right, letting bisu take the middle base its key for what happen on the end. Larva desperately try to break into the high ground cuz he knows his resourses are running off while bisu has a lot to gather yet to keep fighting another 10 minutes. What happen there is comparable to a map with 3 or 5 main bases in a 1v1, where one of the players take 2 out of 3 or 3 out of five having a adventage on resources compared to his opponent. If larva attacked consistently to destroy middle base, after a few trys bisu whould probably desist and take his north expansion insted, then by the minute 50's both players whould have no resourses to gather and have to fight for middle base wich is normally what happen most games, since majority of us dont want that risky spot, i personaly almost never take it. This show how far ahead bisu visualiced his bo when he realises this is going for a long game.

@@alan138 he broke the 2nd natural and still had LOTS of lurkers hydras, little guardians. Should have took defensive position to deny bisu retaking it. Would have won. At that stage bisu main was few on minerals and he had few storms left. Archons and zealots would die goin down thru choke into lurker hydra. Storms would help, but looks like he didnt have enough left.

@@user-nv1qp4jr7p In another scenario i would work what you say. But think about it, that strat you say. Just buy's you time, time that is irrelevant if you are out of minerals. If zerg did what you say. Of course bisu would have a bad time. But he will still be gathering minerals in one base. On the long therm he would have won. Now that we speak of it, what i think may have work is that larva droped his units with overlords on the highground. Instead of trying to enter from the ramp.

12:48 it takes 8 scourge to kill 2 corsairs because humans cant micro them onto individual corsairs fast enough. If somehad had AI or scripting help, thats 4 corsairs and that saves the zerg base.

Wow what a game!! Really intense opening and Larva held off the proxies, didn't know if he could do it. And then for a while it seemed like Bisu was ahead and took center which is also fun to see, but Larva had so many bases later, only to tap out suddenly at the end! So many dead Hydras at 42:47 ouch! And yeah Larva got away with the mutas, which was refreshing, but the dreaded guardian curse strikes again.

The two gases block everything including drones unless they're assimilators. 1 gas 1 ass blocks most stuff. When it's 2 ass even siege tanks can fit through

D.b.g.2.12.a.......I don't know what to say. This was an insanely good game! It's the first time I've ever seen a Protoss this fragile. The only Zerg missing were defilers that came earlier. Everything else from a Zerg player was insanely good! Both players were super good.

Yo Falcon, I love you man. I am watching this channel for like... 7-8 years? I really do not remember, it was like, begining of this channel. BUT. But, I think you now have to think big. I mean: You've reached the point that you are someone that counts in SC world and in YT world, right? So my advice: maybe sometimes it is worth to pause the cast and check something before say it. Protoss is comically bad at attacking bases. Also, this game had two of the most successful storm drops I've seen, and a few seconds after each, the zerg was up in workers again. At the cost of several shuttles and HT in every attempt. I don't understand why it's still such a highly used move.

SPOILERS!!!!! Protoss is the weakest race in the early game, but only gets better the longer the game goes on. With Gas being infinite, Archons and High Templar only gain value as minerals become more scarce. Zerg and Terran just don't have anything as good as those 2 units that are also that CHEAP on minerals. Defilers and Science Vessels are great units that cost fewer minerals than gas but they're just support units. Without costly mineral armies of tanks/vultures and hydras/lurkers to support, they don't do much. P.S. Falcon, both of those Red Archons feedbacked Defilers near the end of the game.
