off the top of my head, I'd say that Blanca and Rosa is a retelling of Snow-White and Rose-Red, a German fairytale (not to be confused with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, those are different people called Snow-White - in German, it's actually "Schnee-WeißCHEN", so a diminutive form of snow-white)

HAILEY! I know you’re a fan of Neal Shusterman so please read his Everlost trilogy! It’s my favorite series of all time and it has absolutely amazing world building and characters but it’s not popular at all which totally breaks my poor heart just like when you talk about Neal shusterman without mentioning the Everlost books. I know you probably get a lot of book recommendations but these are by an author you already like!
