Boxer, man now there is a true legend! I still remember watching him micro 3 marines (no medics) killing a lurker and not losing any of them! Flash might have a better win record, but boxer had such a huge impact on the scene as a whole. It's players like him that paved the way for the success of esports. Sucks that boxer had to leave for his mandatory military service. Glad to see he is still doing well!

Ahhh, a Boxer game! how I love this player. He would play those games and giggle all the way at the same time, because he was playing for fun, not necessarily for effectiveness. The supply depot next to that starport was made for two reasons, first to delay the wraith timing (the supply depot was placed where the control tower would go so that the starport would have to lift). Second it was there to scout if iloveoov was going for cloaked wraiths or maybe dropship play. It was pretty smart even though it looked like bm.

He also safed the SCV for some time, the other SCV could not kill it. It gave him time to manage his base before he had to return to manage the SVC again.

Lost Temple brings back so many memories playing SC BW as a kid. It’s the map I learned how to actually play the game correctly from some really good players, back when joining clans was cool 😂. But it’s such an abusive map for Terrans to exploit with their tank drops on cliffs out side your natural, also taking island bases.

You can definitely see why Boxer was regarded as a total legend with all the tricky stuff that he does, but if you look realistically at it they are both barely cracking 200 APM and are floating a shitload of resources, macro is pretty bad, they would absolutely get destroyed in today's game playing like this. It's funny to see how a game that hasn't changed at all for 15 years, yet the way it is played is completely different now.

When the game was about disrupting economy by any means possible and not about sitting around spending as fast as possible...boxers macro would be considered bronze level by people today...it's his creativeness and micro that made him great. He would have made an amazing WC3 player tbh. BTW, a lot of those "Weird" things he does are actually scouting decisions./disruption tactics. The strangest thing about this game is that oov didn't drop boxer's ledge with a tank + scv + 3 marines...but that's probably why the wraiths were on patrol to the left of oovs base.

I was playing sc in high school, when boxer was in his prime and man comparing this bullshit turtle style sc terran players like flash etc to the one i was raised with is ridicilous. Everything boxer represented back then was better, micro, macro, constant attacking tension, attacking all night long was his standard. No the yamato will not follow the carier. You can shut down the yamato if the vehicle also goes out of vision too far, or stasised or other dissapearances even if yamato is in motion.
