Lol. Thank you for getting head protection. I left the comment on the vlog when the scooter came begging you to get helmets. The injuries I have seen from eScooters and eBikes make me always very nervous when I see someone on one without protection. When you work in Trauma, you see possible injuries everywhere... always. 🤦🏼‍♀️

You need to checkout Lauterbrunnen if you haven’t planned to already. It’s in Switzerland. If you don’t, and then Google it, I swear you will kick yourselves. Also, there is more to Germany than Munich, have a think about the Mosel, Germany’s wine region. There are plenty of beautiful places to see there. And as you love your coffee so much, come a little farther north and I’ll treat you to one, with some delicious German cakes.

Great vlog guys getting ready for all your travels coming up! I thought those bike helmets/caps looked great and so much better than a bulky bike helmet. Watching you talk about the mobile passport control app, I have just returned from Florida and first time using MCO I flew into Terminal C and without using the above, immigration consisted of a short queue, standing in front of a screen for around two seconds and then I was on my way - no questions, no fingerprints nothing else.

I drink mostly flat white or the Macchiato varieties with my Dolce Gusto machine. But absolutely adore Starbucks toffee nut latte pods which are available mostly during Christmas season. Your itinerary for the European trip sounds amazing.

For your trip into Europe make sure that you are fully equipped to meet each countries requirements for what is needed in each country. France for instance requires that you carry a first aid kit, a self breathalizer kit and a warning triangle deployed in the event of a breakdown. In Spain you must carry two warning triangles and a hivis vest for each person travelling in the vehicle. It is illegal to carryout any repair work on the roadside in the event of a breakdown - you must call a Grua (pickup truck) to collect you and the vehicle for transport to a registered mechanic or an off road location for the work to be carried out there (e.g. a tyre replacement). All drivers who have visual correction for driving (i.e. spectacles or contact lenses) must carry a second pair of spectacles in the vehicle. Local traffic police tend to target foreign drivers as they are more likely to not comply and fines are issued and paid on the spot. And do not forget the "UK" badge to be shown on the rear of the vehicle - the old GB and EU versions are no longer legal.

we are fully prepped :) the need for a breathalyzer in France was scrapped in 2020 we do have 2 from the last trip but not required now, Spain on this trip we aren't doing but think we covered everything for other countries including clean air sticks (crits)

We love our dolce gusto coffee machine, we got rid of our Tassimo machine as the dolce gusto has more better coffee pods just trying the new costa cappuccino 👌 but i love the cappuccino, & jess likes the cafe au latte coffee pods , amy my youngest likes the cafe carmel macchiato pods

On your European trip, when in Italy, if you're planning a visit to pompeii (the archaeology site) then you may want to visit the Herculaneum archaeology site instead. It's much better. And less touristy.

You guys are way better with you're dieting than me, but I loved hearing Nick's justification on why he should have the apple crumble, made me chuckle 😅 I know you probably have cemented your Europe plans already, but I can't recommend enough popping over the border to Slovenia as you're relatively close.... Triglav, soca river etc truly stunning!!... If you do Spain another time you could get a ferry from Plymouth over (although not sure if they do it in the winter) or there may be somewhere closer but they go direct to northern Spain

Hi guys you prob already know this but just incase you need to also have at least three disposable breath tests when driving in france at all times (actually only need two however when they stop you and use one if you only have two you cant then drive off because if you do the police thenfine you for not having two!!!) so just incase get three!!!!!!

Oradour-sur-Glane will be the place you mentioned for your trip. Horrible story from world war 2. The whole village is a memorial which was never rebuilt. If you watch the first episode of "The world at war", it is the first thing mentioned. Looking forward to your trip vlogs. Take care.
