Amazing siege! My only gripe is that CA try so much to sell large city sieges as a new mechanic of WH3 for the new fans, as if there wasn't even better sieges in every Total War before Empire.

Y thats so true that, and thediplomacy ai is the worst ... And i like empire the most ... It was always so stupid to invade some place like istanbul and one small fort is all the defence it has ...

Why is it every siege I see no one sends troops though the front gates and have a small number attack the walls the idea is to get inside so you can run amok

Can somebody point out differences / improvement of siege in 3 over 2 or three kingdoms? I can't seem to find them

This battle is not a good representation. It's the only siege map with only one side to attack from.since its the great bastion. The way you play sieges now is you have multiple attack phases. The defender has multiple victory points which generate provisions for them with which they can build towers and barricades inside the city. City layouts have been MASSIVELY improved. You can attack from all angles now and you'll have much more often last stand battle moments where you retreated from the wall after a hard fight and prepared for a last stand in the city Center while demons stream into your city. This video is literally only the attack on the wall against a small garrison AI army

This is only the outer most layer of a siege. Ironically this is also the only current siege map that has only one side to attack from in the entire warhammer 3 game. So no sieges have been improved massively and are a lot of fun now with the new tower building system and the better layouts of cities. Had some epic cinematic siege battles that devolved into multiple phases of outer wall attack, inner wall attack and last stand in the city Center. Full on happy with the siege changes imo.

I liked Warhammer 1 as someone who doesnt know anything about this franchise. It was sort of accessible. You had a Vampire faction who can raise the dead, humans, elfs, orcs, giants,..etc accessible.. But now it has become all weird and shit.. Unrecognizable and absolutely goddamn weird... I mean just look at that leader, wtf is that.. are these siege towers?? Why are these soldiers holding a giant dildo..etc I just cant play warhammer 3, it is too ridiculous for my taste, yet I can play non-stop Three Kingdoms..
