Awesome views. Nice little spot for your campsite and the leaf definitely helped with the water.

Yeah, that little source of water was a life saver. I was scared we would be without water that night. Thanks for watching it John! ✌️

Hiked with my sister from Molas Lake to Vallacito Lake many times in my younger days . First time, came face to face with a bear. The hardest part were all of the switchbacks to the Divide looking down into Beartown. On the last day, I found a cherry Jolly Rancher on the trail, and I ate it! I didn't care whose grubby hikers pocket it fell out of.

Some incredible views up on those ridges. All things in Wyoming are a bit tougher. It's part of our DNA.😅

It was definitely tougher in Wyoming…I can attest to that! 😂✌️

Those dry stretches are challenging! When I did the Ruby Crest Trail, Day 3 was 13 miles, 5 summits/passes, and 5,000 feet of vert between water spots. This section was pretty green for how dry it was. Water off a leaf? Crazy!

Dang! Now that is a dry stretch on the Ruby Crest. Yeah, that little patch of water was clutch for us. ✌️

@@ASTHECROWFLIESHIKING nothing like taking your last sip as you roll up to the only water you’ve seen for 13 miles. 🤪

Epic beauty! I remember when I was about 28 that I visited friends in Winter Park CO and had no trouble w elevation. I often wonder how well I would do w elevation now that I am 52. Your efforts are an inspiration. Be well!

For my understanding that Sawyer repellent doesn't repel them to pursue but makes them sluggish and lazy from the scent... But works better on ticks than deet

Watched you lighting your stove for your morning coffee. I would suggest getting a long nose lighter. Much easier to keep from burning your precious little digits!
