Places like those are built on the premise of delivering food in an almost automated manner. It has to be FAST, and it is all that matters. And fast is never tasty. Then again, when somebody puts more labour than average in their burgers, the price automatically goes up. Only premium burger places, which are mostly not all so widespread, do that. Fast food joints will never do this kind of magic.
