EPIC Day! Fishing the Coronado Islands | Multiple Yellowtail Caught + More

We are back at it again, this time we are fishing in Mexican waters just south of San Diego, CA. We launched out of Point Loma and headed straight for the Coronado Islands! This spectacular fishing trip was made possible by Louis from ‪@artemisadventures1734‬ . He is such a good dude to invite us down to his neck of the woods and take us out on a day to remember, thank you again Louis! We caught multiple fish including Yellowtail, Calico Bass and some pretty big Barracuda. Live sardines were the main attraction for these fish although Fred hooked into something huge on a Surface Iron. Louis also brought in a nice Yellowtail on the Surface Iron as well. I learned SO much on this trip, what to do and what NOT to do. I caught my first Yellowtail with these two seasoned fishermen and I wouldn't have been successful without. Fred’s actually a much better fisherman than he comes across in this video. His gaffing skills were lacking though. We gave him a lot of shit for it on the boat. :) At least he didn’t nock any fish off. My goal is to get the fish in the boat first, then avoid the meat!
