Looking back at 2021 from 2022 I'm really glad I got to get so much footage fishing in Belize. Caye Caulker is a great travel destination for a fisherman, lot of opportunities to get into some good table fare and the occasional monster...
Captain Mark is a local from Caye Caulker, and has always been one of the best fisherman on the Island , as a teenager I would see him bring in some of the biggest trophy fish Belize has to offer, Kingfish and Wahoo, Big Cubera and Mutton Snapper, Jewfish, and Grouper, Jack, you name it..., with some of the worlds best Tarpon Permit and Bonefish they've become the dominant go to sportfish for the area...., but the abundance of different game you can target is endless and the reef has a lot to offer, and when your looking for lunch Tarpon are the last are the last thing you wanna catch, we we're looking for Mutton and Yellowtail Snapper...
The reef in Belize has some amazing opportunities for diving and snorkeling because of how diverse the marine life is ..., this also makes for some great fishing !!!
We caught over 20 fish and at 10 different species, pretty fun.
