Those black eggs really ended up saving our lives because we struck out on all our other food plans. Maybe there’s some truth to them extending your life. Haha Thanks for watching!

Great tour once again Rachel (black eggs and those tempting views of Fuji 🙏🏼🤠 🌋 ) Noticed the cable cars had two lines ?? Maybe the volcanism in the area is the reason ??? Nice thermo pool too 👌🏻 Best regards to Matt 👍 Simon

The view of Mt. Fuji made our day. 🏔️❤️ Good observation about the cable cars! We actually have no clue but that’s a good possibility! We did read while we were there that it’s Swiss-built which we found super interesting. Thanks for tuning in again to our adventures! 😊

First off bubble cheese tea? Weird but I would probably try it. The ship is random but it looks pretty nice and unique. Wow love volcanic places also. Because of volcanos we loved the snorkling in st Lucia. So much life in volcanic spots. Those mountains wow. Love the insta 360 footage. I love mine. Wow black eggs. I love eggs in other countries. Our eggs are like whitish yellow and bland. Neet. Was food any different in pricing than in Tokyo? Sorry to hear about the time suck. So much anxiety from that. lol haha nakey I would totally be in the onsen. Great video guys! Excited for Osaka, that’s on my future itinerary.

It was kind of like a sweet cream cheese foam so it was pretty good! 🧋 Good to know about St. Lucia. We will have to consider adding it to our ever growing list. Haha Food pricing was pretty similar to Tokyo. It’s hard to judge though since we never managed to actually have a legit sit down meal that day. 😅 Japanese eggs are 10/10, and you’ll love Osaka! Thanks for watching!

Was excited to see your video pop up on the algorithm because we're heading back to Japan Feb 2025 and this time stopping by at Hakone for the night. We will also be taking some of the suggested route by going to the Hakone Shrine, Owakudani and checking out the 400 year old Amasake Tea House. We wanted to do the Open Air Museum and the Hakone Check Point but with how slow all the transportation is there, there's just not enough time to do everything. Checking out the Evangelion Store while there since that's where it's based off of in the anime. We're also staying the night at a ryokan and Check in is at 3. That's one thing we disliked about Japan. The lines. In Asakusa we had to line up at 7/8 just to get time slots at 10am for Fluffy Pancakes at 1pm. They were so good but hated that we had to do that. Waited an hour for noodles in Ginza. We eventually just ignored the "Instagram spots," and went to little hole in the walls or less popular spots and the food was just as amazing. Sorry you had to deal with that. We always pack protein bars just in case stuff like that happens. If not I'll get Hangry. And thanks for the tip for standing off to the side for the Tori Gate. Great video y'all. It's also awesome to see "local-ish" people make videos in Japan. We're in MD. Oh! And Onsens are the best 😌 -Ven

Hi! So glad our video found you and thanks for taking the time to comment. If we had to skip something, we would skip the open air museum. It was nice but nothing that different from other sculpture gardens. Hopefully in February you will experience less crowds than we did. The ryokan will be super nice! I wish we booked one instead of having to head back to Tokyo. I think we may have went to the same pancake place - benizuru? It’s a lot of weighing benefit costs when you try to eat at these notable restaurants in Japan. We almost stopped at a 7-Eleven we passed but decided not to since we were going to eat at our onsen… but we all know how that planned out. 😂 Luckily I do think we had a protein bar to split between the two of us. That’s awesome you’re from MD. You’re not far from us at all! Thanks for stopping by and watching our little video. We hope you have a great trip and happy planning!

@@MattandRachelTravel we're hoping for lesser crowds as well seeing it's going to be a little more cold. And yes! We went to Benizuru. It was funny, we were in our airbnb and when I woke up I was like "I want fluffy pancakes, let's see if there's any of them around here." Found Benizuru and glad I went to go read tips on getting there early on Trip Advisor. And lucky it was a rest/slower day for us.

Nice video! It's a beautiful area, which is tough because that's where everyone goes. And, I agree, too many people are not considerate when taking photos at the popular spots. That's frustrating. But it's fun to go on so many forms of transportation. The view you got of Mt. Fuji was glorious! And you can't go wrong with a private onsen to end the day!

We really underestimated how busy this area would be, but still enjoyed the little break to get out into nature and see something new. Especially Mt. Fuji, that was at the top of our list! That onsen visit was very needed by the end of the day. Thanks for tuning in! ☺️
