IMHO by far the best of all the anderton's shows. It's great to watch because (1) the music is incredible; (2) Pete & rabea have no ego that gets in the way. (3) They're just great guys & they're hugely talented & funny; (4) & you mix it all with great guitars. I've probably watched this video start to finish 10x. Not tired of it yet. I think we should take up a collection & give Pete a 5420T! Andertons needs to sell a DVD with a collection of all these.

I have an Electromatic 5620T Center Block (think single cut 335) and it's absolutely fantastic. I get compliments on it all the time from other musicians in regards to both looks and sound. I have to say, the quality fit & finish and sound quality out of the Gretsch Korean made stuff is stunning, especially for the money. I've been wanting one of those Aspen Green 5420's for a long time as well!

I got a 5120 Electromatic this past week. What a fab guitar! The neck is smooth and easy to fret, it holds tune pretty good, and it sounds wonderful. If you're looking for a Gretsch but can't afford the Japanese models, get the Electromatic. You won't regret it.

They are nice guitars. Fun anecdote: I recently bought the 12 string version, the G5422G-12. Absolutely great guitar. I have an excellent and large-ish collection, and the 12er is meant to be my last guitar, ever. It is the first Gretsch I've ever played, and now I want to play more of them. The green Gretsch really stands apart in the middle position in my opinion. Love that chord and ending at 15.09. A great clean chord progression can be as good as any solo. I love the metal and rock stuff by you guys but this kind of playing has more empathy for the guitar as an instrument, again in my humble opinion.

Hey guys, the deal with 2 volumes and the master volume is: 1 - you can find your sweet spot in the middle position and blend how much of each pickup you want/need. 2 - you can set it to make the kill switch trick. 3 - (my favourite) you can set different volumes, use a drive pedal, when you switch pickups, you can have a dirtier tone in one side and a cleaner tone on the other. Without messing your setup, you can just mute your guitar with the master volume.
