I remember how Rimmy spammed mines around the gate and setup turrets on the sides and ceiling, and also how the second looking ambush spot nothing came through.

Gameplay looks solid. Atmosphere feels solid. Missions are varied and interesting. You are playing the game well. I am absolutely entertained.

Not gonna lie. 1 minute in and i share intel’s frustrations with command. I know she’s thrusted into a crazy Military op as a newby, but… she’s been unnecessarily antsy with him for so long now. Edit: It gets worse, oh noooooo 😩

There isn't a single person in the fleet that can truly understand and emphasize with her. She has an enormous responsibility thrust upon her with no time to prepare. He is experienced, she isn't.

Gotta say, the cutscenes feel weird and writing feel really bad, especially the Imogen mindscapes and the director's assertions. It could be the voice acting, but honestly I don't know how that could improve the weird stilt to everyone's speech. Hope it pulls out of it and improves

Questiom when deploying the turrents ypunwere doing in rapid session at about the 11 min mark, what key buttond did ypu use? I couldnt figure it out so i ended up doing them one by one

I agree that the story is terribly written. I think the game itself is quite good, especially the roguelike format, and it will only get better over time. I'd say don't buy the game for the story, and I'm holding off on buying it at all, but I think it has a lot of potential.

God those missions are so poorly thought... the whole story is a joke, it ignores the whole past and setting... and the character design... it's like a deep dive in the uncanny valley, for some reason Intel is the only one that looks relatively human, S'Jet looks like a neandertal.
