Those estate sales were awesome! In 1967 when I graduated from high school, the Lane company would give each graduating girl a little Lane chest like the one you showed. It was to promote the sale of their hope chests. I think I still have mine somewhere!

My daughter loves to go thrifting and she loves when her aunts bring her thrifting for clothes this past year she has really has gotten the thrifting bug even raiding grandmas closets for vintage finds. She is12. So I hope you can wait too. 🤗😁

Noah, you're such a cool guy to get up early and "get shop done" with your mom! Most guys your age want to sleep in and game all afternoon and night. Noah cam is a great feature! The bear in canoe and bear timer would fit with Noah's aesthetic in his room. The Lane cedar chests were given to girls graduating high school, back in the early 1970s. I have one. 💖🌹💍💎

Cribbage is a card and peg game. Add up your 15's and I can't remember from there. I played it everyday for years but had a stroke and forgot how. It's alot of fun.

Wow I've been looking everywhere for a blanket like that. I still have mine from when I was in my teens ugh I'm 49 now. But mine is well loved perfect to use to wrap around my eyes when I have a bad migraine to keep all light out. Hopefully I find one yardsaling this year. I go to estate sale 1st day but don't necessarily buy. I go back the last day at last 2 hours and they usually let you make piles and offer for whole thing really cheaply.

I still haven't received my invoice from the Dog Junkies sale, and I sent another email to you all this morning. But I love heraldry, and I would really like to have more of that jewelry. I'm sure you know for sure, but I think there are a couple of other brands that make good quality heraldic jewelry as well as Coro. I graduated from High School in 1972 and all the girls were given those Lane cedar boxes. I still have mine and use it for my special memories and treasures. I don't remember what the boys got, but I remember thinking we got a better deal. 🙂. Love your videos and your interaction with and support of your kid's activities.

My parents had a player piano in our basement when I was a kid, we must have have a hundred of those rolls but by the time you played one song you were tired as it was manually powered with foot pedals you had to pump!!!

I love the beautiful bond that you have with each of your kids. And Noah looks just like You. You couldn't ask for a better right hand man than Noah. I know what you mean about there being special bond with him. In some ways my daughter and are close. My oldest son is more like his Dad. But my youngest son and I have a very special bond. He and I spent many days and and nights in the hospital while he was growing up. He has a fatal genetic disease, and I was hyperventilate doing everything to stay two or more steps ahead of illness. He will be 32 this summer. And I tell you it is so hard, and scary for me to step back and let him take care of himself. He's been doing a great job. He and I are a lot alike. Being a grandmother is pretty fantastic too. 😊

Danny, you guys hit the ball out of the park today! What incredible finds. I don’t think everything starting at one dollar should continue. I see several live auctions where they start the price at close to what they paid for it, and then the bidding goes from there. Congratulations on an incredible haul!

The pink glass item you called a fairy lamp is actually a hair receiver. It would go on a victirian lady's dresser and after she would comb her hair whatever she removed from the brush or comb would go in that container. They then used the hair to make braided jewelry, mourning pieces made of a deceased loved ones hair, as stuffing for pincushions, and so on.

???? The hair receivers were older looking than that and I have them in porcelain. The item she picked up was a round dome ball like which opened with lid with a hole in it. the base you would place your candle in it cover and the diamond cut pattern would shine pretty patterns on the wall.
