However, it’s a tool that is currently being used in unethical ways because it’s new and not regulated. Saying “it is what is” is just a lazy and easy excuse to deny any personal accountability on taking part of that unethical behavior. There are plenty of human artist that are using ai with an ethical data base (some that have even built it themselves) that don’t use stolen work from others in their art. But no one looks for this stuff because it’s easy to say “it is what it is” instead of taking accountability and action to make things better. Artist can spend hours on their work. All we ask is for you guys to take an extra 10 seconds to use proper credited art.
