The day started off with us catching some really big fish from our kayaks, but ended with us having to evacuate the spot due to some super sketchy activity. We still don't know what was going on, but are glad that we got out of potential harms way. We hope you enjoy watching today's upload, if so, hit the LIKE button for us and SUBSCRIBE to our channel so you can keep up with all of our future fishing adventures! Thank you so much for watching and we will see you on the next one!!!

I would have left too when I heard shots fired. I hope you can go back and catch some bigger ones. That one bass that Jay caught was stout. Probably 14 to 15 inches but the girth on that fish was massive. Way to go, Jay

Guys not a pita freak at all but when your catching stripers it is absolutely vital not to keep the striper out of the water long at all. If you want a picture do it quickly and get it back in the water. Often times handling and playing a striper as long as yall had done its best to keep the fish. As one of many guides who worrie about the resource we use large equipment so we can get the fish in quickly and get it returned to the water. Striper accumulate almost 2 times more stalactites acid in there muscles and if the battle is long and then handled just for the sake of showing it off it often goes to the bottom and dies. Just something to think about. On my home lake the size limit was even lowered to try and help to stop the mortality rate from so many being caught on smaller equipment. Before on any given day you always seen strippers floating on the surface with lure marks in the fish's mouth. I just wish that the fisheries department's would educate all sportsmen and women as to how to handle certain fish to make sure they survive and in good health.

@COLE_and_JAY 3 жыл бұрын
We release the larger fish unless they get gill hooked. They are stocked and maintained in larger lakes, but they reproduce naturally in this river. The limit is 6 per day and we usually keep fish that are between the 3-5lb size. We release probably 90% of the Striper we catch. 👍
