EPIC Florida Travel Day ✈️ Virgin Atlantic Economy LIGHT & Universal Studios Orlando 2022 🇺🇸

Originally from Liverpool, myself Andrew (The KnightStrider) and Laura moved to Tenerife 8 years ago. We LOVE to travel and explore the world! We spend our free time showcasing the very best of Tenerife and our general life - as well as travelling abroad whenever we can!
IT’S FLORIDA TRAVEL DAY! Join me and Laura as we star our magical journey at Manchester Airport as we travel with Virgin Atlantic to Orlando International travelling Economy Light, the cheapest and most budget flight Virgin offer! Filmed in May 2022.
We show the full journey and all the bits a travel vlog should have, with some tips and pointers along the way that may help you! We traveled via the new Terminal 2 at Manchester with Virgin Atlantic which was very nice. We also show if there are any delays with the security checks at Manchester. We were extremely lucky and got to fly on Virgin Atlantics Newest Airbus A350-1000 aircraft called “Lady Emmeline”.
The flight went smoothly, exploring and showing the whole new Economy cabin and new entertainment system, including a new segment on their famous safety video! We also loved the “tail-cam” feature where you could watch a webcam of the exterior of the plane.
The flight was very fast, only taking 8 hours and before we knew it we were at Orlando International Airport. Not having to wait for suitcases and having an empty Customs area we were through to the Alamo Rental Car desk in just 20 minutes. We could not believe our luck and our timing! The Florida buzz hit us straight away and we couldn’t resist heading straight to Universal Orlando Resort to do a few rides and take in the atmosphere. All the way from Manchester at 6AM to riding Velocicoaster in the same day was a great feeling!
We rounded off the day with a quick walk around City Walk and a bite to eat from Breadbox and World Famous Hotdogs.

Well, that put a smile on my face. Then came the Virgin A350 1000, that made me smile even more. My partner is 50 at the end of the year, so as a surprise I booked a week in New York, flying with Virgin on their A350 1000, returning on their Boeing 787/9 Dreamliner. Have a fantastic break, stride on guys.

What was the allowance for economy light? I know you can take one hand luggage up to 10kg but can’t find the dimensions. I can see you have a rucksack and small bag too?? Was this included with the economy light? Also, are they very strict with the side of the luggage as I have a backpack. Thanks

Andrew I heard from my you tube friend who is just back from Florida that you can go into any restaurant in the parks and ask for water and it's free. They give you it in a cup with ice and a straw. Not a lot of people know about it. It'll save you a fortune. Have a lovely time. 🥰🌞🥰Xxx

Great Vlog as usual, just two questions, when buying the cheapest seat on Virgin did you had any thoughts about not being able to have seats together at the check-in if the plane was full? The other is regarding mobile data in USA, do you buy any T-mobile chip or something similar or rely just on wifi? Keep you the excellent work and enjoy this great vacation.

Next time you go to Florida from Manchester you really need to try Aer Lingus, they are a great airline plus you will get to experience some great irish hospitality! Also their business class is really good value! Also their food is really nice! It might be slightly more expensive it is worth it, they are actually a great airline! Also the new terminal looks more like a shopping centre rather than a duty free

Enjoying your video mate… we’re doing it in Sept.( Virgin Light . LHR- MCO )… and the reason we’re doing is to obviously keep the cost down but we have a Villa. So we have access to a washing machine and dryer 😀😀😀. So we can wash everyday.., so even if your favourite shirt or blouse gets a stain ..pop it in the wash 😀😀😀😀👌👌👌👍👍
